This is my second MacBook and third apple product ever. I had the 2015 MacBook Air and its still runs but very very slow and also had a iPhone in the past but switch to Android and windows. I wanted something for better battery life and this MacBook is probably an over kill but has tremendous battery life. The screen is also great and so is the sound. I bought both the M4 and M4 pro version but returned the base M4 because the M4 pro was a better buy for my future plans. cons: I find it hard to understand why it has no FaceID no touchscreen capabilities. Apple may be trying to avoid canibalization of the sale of its IPAD line of products, but I think it time they make the MacBook touch compatible and add FaceID. Also the laptop feels a bit heavy but not too much that its unbearable to cary around.

Excellent item. I was a windows user my whole life. Hence switching to a different OS includes some learning curve. But what I like the most about this item is its superior build quality, vivid display, loud speaker, and swift performance. Though apples products are always a bit pricey, purchasing this laptop could be seen as a long term investment.

This computer was the exact step up I needed for my business workflow. It's fast, the screen resolution is beautiful, and it can handle all the work I throw at it and then some.

Best Buy customer service is superb. I purchased this product but after about 10 days I noticed a abnormal pixel on the display. The defect was so small that one could easily missed it. But after talked to the store customer service, they let me to exchange a new one with no string attached. They even restarted the date of product care program.

The M4 Pro MacBook is insanely fast. Apps open instantly, battery lasts all day, and the screen looks amazing. No lag at all, even with heavy work. Easily the best MacBook I’ve used.

I love my new Mac. I was on the fence whether to buy a Windows laptop or an Apple Mac and I’m so glad I chose the Mac. Love the design, performance and ease of operation. Also, I want to mention how helpful everyone was at the store. I also got the Best Buy + and received a credit for the difference in a lower sales price over Black Friday. The 14-inch MacBook Pro sits in Apple’s “portable pro” tier: more capability than the MacBook Air, yet more compact and somewhat more portable than the 16-inch MacBook Pro. I caught a good sale that was going on when I picked up this MacBook. I debated on the MacBook Air but I decided on the Pro because of the extra Thunderbolt port and the SD card slot. I upload a lot of videos so the SD slot was what won me over. I’m glad my return to Apple has been a smooth transition

There are so many things I love about this laptop! I had a MacBook Pro when it first came out years ago in 2006 and it is 1 million times better than it was then, and that is saying a lot! So user-friendly. The screen images are sharp. The unit itself is thin, lightweight, and compact. It is truly a wonderful investment for my personal as well as my business life. Love it!

Upgraded from a Air and is night and day. This Pro model is a beast that will conquer anything you need to complete. Whether its simply writing documents or editing videos, the Pro kills it! Also, consider trading in your old electronics for store credit to lower the cost of the laptop.

The M1 was a solid workhorse, but with those large blueprint files (especially when you’re zooming, panning, or running multiple programs side by side - as a note Im a General Contractor), the newer chips like the M4 Pro really shine. Apple’s been optimizing for tasks that demand a lot of memory bandwidth and GPU acceleration, which makes them perfect for construction management software, CAD tools, and massive PDFs.

Replaced a 2019 macbook pro and what an upgrade! Awesome battery life and a powerful computer! we've had this for about 30 days and use it every day. It has been great and since we purchased apple care, we know it will last a long time.
