The Mac book pro is well named, it is truly a pro. I was in the process of moving and I had decided not to copy everything from an IMAC that I was shipping to CA because of the age and chaos of the files. After working with the Geek Squad to set it up, I still needed to set up other software and that was easier than I thought it would be. I love Apple products.

I purchased this MacBook Pro to replace two ten-year old computers that could no longer run current software on the market. I am a research scientist (physicist) with relatively high-end needs. I carefully studied review articles and specifications, concluding this computer fit my interests best. I chose going to Best Buy over ordering from the internet, so I would have local “brick and mortar" support. I telephoned the number for Best Buy I had found on the web. I was put in touch with a competent rep. immediately. She walked me through product availability where we located the machine I wanted. She told me it was in the store, and I placed my order. I went to our local Best Buy, purchased it and my needed accessories, including a '27 monitor screen and an external hard drive. Bottom line: I have what I wanted, and I am delighted with all of it. Product works as expected. It runs fast and the battery life is good. Downloading apps can be a hassle though.

This thing is a well designed beast. I love it I purchased the MacBook m4 it wasn’t strong enough to run my photography applications, I returned it and purchased the M4 pro and well worth the higher price tag by far

This works great when paired with an external monitor. You get the best of both worlds, easy to travel with and a great amount of memory for applications that use a lot of ram! I prefer the silver color, harder to notice fingerprints/dust than the black one. Love the new features and plenty of places for hard drives/monitors/SD cards/whatever to plug in! I do miss that slider bar at the top though.

Upgraded to M4 Pro 24Gb from M3 Pro 18Gb. Significantly noticeable difference in performance and battery life - much more than expected. Display is brighter and more vivid. If you’re considering this upgrade - definetly worth it. I also got good trade in value for my 2 yr old M3 Pro Macbook at Best Buy.

The M4 Pro MacBook is insanely fast. Apps open instantly, battery lasts all day, and the screen looks amazing. No lag at all, even with heavy work. Easily the best MacBook I’ve used.

First time transitioning from Windows to Mac, and this laptop blew my mind. It’s not only fast compared to my windows tower I built, but it’s also portable. The Mac OS is something I need to get used to but it was easy to pick up. The Apple ecosystem is very good when you have everything Apple like AirPods and iPhone. It’s very easy to use everything. Excellent item. I was a windows user my whole life. Hence switching to a different OS includes some learning curve. But what I like the most about this item is its superior build quality, vivid display, loud speaker, and swift performance. Though apples products are always a bit pricey, purchasing this laptop could be seen as a long term investment.

Best Buy customer service is superb. I purchased this product but after about 10 days I noticed a abnormal pixel on the display. The defect was so small that one could easily missed it. But after talked to the store customer service, they let me to exchange a new one with no string attached. They even restarted the date of product care program.
