I upgraded my laptop from M1 Pro to the M4 Pro. The M1Pro was plenty fast, but this one is even faster. I no longer see any slowdowns when editing photos due to the faster processor and more RAM that is included. Great upgrade.

I was searching for a laptop which can handle multiple workflows, heavy programming tasks and can perform good (no fan noise, good sound, display etc). I researched a lot for non macbook cheap options - Asus s series/zenbook, lenovo legion, hp ultra flip, but when I read reviews of any good laptop there was always something that I was worried about and then I checked macbook reviews. No wonder, macbook took away all the worries. Anyways I was going to buy $1200 worth of laptop so for a peace of mind, I bought this one. And thanks to 20% cashback offer of best buy. Its still the same cost for me on paper. Talking about laptop - its the best, you can read others reviews and YouTube it. But if you are getting it on offer and you are not going to do heavy gaming but just need powerful cpu and gpu for your tasks, go for it.

Upgraded from a 2018 i7 MacBook Pro that had been a terrific computer for 7 years, but the battery was now lasting less than an hour and knew Apple would eventually stop supporting the intel lineup with updates. So far the 2024 MacBook Pro with M4 Pro apple silicone has been terrific, very snappy, and I can go multiple days on a single charge. I use a virtual machine a lot for work and use a lot of image editing software, and this computer has managed to knock out everything quickly. Definitely recommend.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip delivers outstanding performance for both everyday tasks and demanding professional work. Its Liquid Retina XDR display is bright, sharp, and excellent for creative use. The Space Black design feels premium, with a comfortable keyboard and excellent trackpad. Battery life easily lasts a full workday under normal use. Overall, it’s a powerful, well-built laptop that justifies its premium price.

I use this laptop for development and general tasks. Speed is quite amazing. No slowdown with 3+ browsers and ~20+ tabs each. If you have an iPhone, the apple ecosystem works great, allowing you to answer text messages and autocompleting text verification code (safari only). It's great on the go with its long lasting battery life and I can use it in multiple 5 hour sessions without needing to charge it. Sound is great for a laptop as well. The HDMI port is pretty handy without needing to connect to a dock. I use a kvm switch and hdmi port to an LG C2 TV. You need to go to inputs and configure it to PC for clear picture output, but other than that it works great @4k 120hz. I was worried about heat problems, but this doesn't get hot at all despite running all the browsers and development tasks. I haven't gotten to push the CPU to the max at all yet, though I have yet to try local LLMs. CPU runs at roughly 105F/40C on average tasks.

First and foremost the build quality is well above even the most high end Windows machines. The Screen is the brightest I've ever found, and the keyboard is a joy to type on. Five days out of seven I use this MacBook Pro in clamshell mode while plugged into a Studio Display. The two days a week I use it as a laptop for 12 hours each day the battery last for most of it. Whether open or in clamshell mode the laptop runs cool. I've played World of Warcraft retail with this laptop both plugged into an external display and as a laptop and the performance is surprisingly good. The machine is fast, powerful, and beautiful. My only real complaint is the ridiculous price Apple charges for storage. For any laptop in this price range a 1TB hard drive should be the entry point, especially with the word Pro attached to it. I feel compelled to give this Laptop 5 Stars because everything except the cost of storage is fantastic.

I went from a MacBook Air to this MacBook Pro. Editing photos, coding, anything AI, is so fast! Game changer for sure! Super happy with it.

The new MacBook m4 pro is such a great investment. I’m able to do everything i need to do on this laptop that i could do on a regular desktop. It’s light, durable, and easy to use anywhere I go. 10/10 recommended.
