The amount of research I had to do to figure out how to completely reformat it and not mess up settings like if it was stolen was unbelievable. Took it to a shop cost me 300$ at that point I should’ve returned it and got a new one right? No return on open boxes. Expensive lesson to learn

That said this thing is secure in terms of security but, you are just paying for the name brand. I returned this Mac book pro and picked up a Lenovo yoga 9, like comparing a Toyota camery to a corvette. The macbook pro is the Toyota camery and the lenovo yoga 9i is the corvette. Oh, and the lenovo was more than a thousand dollars cheaper. Just my two cents.

I haven’t had a bad experience till date with Best Buy for the first time I purchased open box excellent condition product I never want to buy any open box product since to do this i struggled lot. And there were lot of marks on the screen as well

I needed a new computer because my search engines stopped working due to my computer wouldn't update any further. Went to Best Buy as I did my homework on what I wanted. I went right to the Apple department and asked the gentleman behind the desk what I wanted and he brought me the computer from the back and said it was the last one! Glad I went when I did. He also told me about the Best Buy Membership for my warranty. I added that as well, I am glad I did. Couldn't be happier with this buy and the sales person gave us tons of information and tips. Thank you, Best Buy, for another perfect purchase.

The quality control Apple sustains for now more than a decade is astonishing. This laptop will easily work flawlessly for 6-8 years without any major issues. Lexus and Benz of computing in one package.

After buying this one open box I was worried the RAM wouldn't have been enough but surprisingly it's been able to handle everything I've thrown at it. Would recommend for creatives who need to do Photo/Video Editing work as it's runs better then my desktop with 128gb of ram and the latest Intel CPU.

My last one was from 2015, and it still works with no problem. I only upgraded to run the current versions of the softwares that I use. Exceptional!
