I recently bought the MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip from Best Buy, and I’m honestly very impressed. The performance is incredibly fast. Everything opens instantly and multitasking feels effortless, even when I have a lot of apps and browser tabs open at the same time. The display is beautiful and super sharp. Watching videos, editing photos, and just general browsing all look amazing on the Liquid Retina XDR screen. The colors are vibrant and the brightness is great. Battery life is another big highlight. I can use it most of the day without worrying about charging, even with heavier use. It’s also very quiet and stays cool while working, which I really appreciate. The build quality feels premium like all MacBook Pros, and the keyboard, trackpad, and speakers are excellent. Everything about it just feels smooth and well designed. Overall, this is one of the best laptops I’ve used. Compared to the 16-inch model, this is much more portable and the m4 pro configuration has a lot of power to go with that portability. Port selection is alright if you have moved to USB type c and have a few dongles laying around for the few cases you might need them. Display is alright for general computing and photography work. This is not your "ultimate gaming" display, but it is sufficient. Build quality is excellent as we have come to expect from Apple devices. Battery life is very good for a laptop, no problems there except if you decide to do a lot of heavy work with the browsers (chrome, edge, safari), those seem to be some of the biggest consumers of resources.

This is an AMAZING computer and for $1799 it’s a steal! I will be returning it ONLY bc the M5 Pro came out within the return window of this one and I felt like the additional cost was worth it for the type of work I’m doing! The battery life is amazing, the graphics are killer (tested Death Stranding and GRID Legends on ULTRA settings at 60fps and both play spectacularly with minimal stuttering while looking simply astounding), and it renders videos in Final Cut Pro in an absolute flash! I can’t recommend this computer enough!!!

AESTHETICS- Solid Beautifully Built laptop (it is a little heavier then i am used to carrying). SETUP- as a MacBook convert, the setup was rather easy. A windows laptop normally took me around 4 hours (running updates, then running more updates, updating divers, loading all the software) This laptop took about 2.5, but being this is my first Macbook I had to learn a few things along the way. SPEED- OMG this laptop cooks! I have always bought high end intel products, but I think Apple’s done something special with it’s silicone. DISPLAY- Gorgeous HD display. BATTERY- *I haven’t really been able to use it heavily* I purchased this laptop on Dec 14, 2024, I’ve only had to charge it twice (the second being 3 days ago).

I've had this computer for several weeks and can say its performance is excellent. I've used it for Zoom meetings without being on the charger and an hour long meeting barely changed the charge level. It's also super fast for processing large photo files. Be sure to purchase a Thunderbolt 5 external storage SSD to maximize its performance. I love it when Best Buy sells Apple computers for less than Apple and then gives Total members even better warranty coverage.

This MacBook has been a game changer for me. I can screen share it to my Apple tv when I am doing work or watching videos I would have gone with the Air but I like having the sd card reader. I really like the battery life. Switched from an xps 15 and like my Mac more. Build quality is not even close from any other brand.
