I purchased this for my editing as I am a photographer and I am obsessed with it so far. The M4 chip speed is insane! I wish I would’ve gotten it sooner. It has changed the game for me as a photographer.

Upgraded from a 2018 i7 MacBook Pro that had been a terrific computer for 7 years, but the battery was now lasting less than an hour and knew Apple would eventually stop supporting the intel lineup with updates. So far the 2024 MacBook Pro with M4 Pro apple silicone has been terrific, very snappy, and I can go multiple days on a single charge. I use a virtual machine a lot for work and use a lot of image editing software, and this computer has managed to knock out everything quickly. Definitely recommend.

Live the new MacBook. Super fast, good battery life. Love the fingerprint singing feature, make life easier. Well worth the price for the space and speed. Upgraded from a 2017 MacBook Pro that ran its course.

The MacBook Pro 14" with M4 Pro chip is a remarkable machine that justifies its premium price for professional users. Performance is stellar - handles everything from video editing to coding without any slowdown. The 24GB unified memory provides excellent multitasking, and the 512GB SSD is fast, though professionals might want more storage. Battery life is impressive at 12-15 hours for regular work. The Liquid Retina XDR display is gorgeous with amazing colors and contrast. Space Black finish looks sleek and professional. The keyboard and trackpad remain best in class. Runs completely silent for most tasks, only occasionally spinning up fans under heavy load. Build quality is exceptional as expected from Apple. While expensive, if you need a powerful, portable workstation for creative or development work, this delivers. The M4 Pro chip's efficiency and speed make this a worthwhile upgrade from older Intel Macs or earlier M-series chips.

I am upgrading from macbook pro intel model and its a night and day difference interms of performance, sound and picture quality. Design is sexy, awesome color (space grey) and Battery lasts for whole day .

It takes some adjustment to switch to Apple’s OS but overall a great machine. Extremely fast. Runs DaVinci Resolve like mad!!
