I am a long-time Windows user. While I have no plans to give up Windows, I do see the appeal of Apple Silicon. This is a powerful machine with a long-lasting battery. I am still learning to use it, but I know that Apple laptops last a long time so I will get a lot of use out of this machine.

It’s faster than the previous Apple laptop, has more storage, and handles content creation with ease.

I've had this for a few months now and it works well.I like how fast it is and that the battery lasts a long time.If they would have had the larger screen at the time I would have gotten that, overall pretty good for music production for college and recording etc.

Had my other computer for 9 years and a lot of the keys were popping off so I was forced to get a new one. Chat gpt also helped me pick this one out based on my needs. It is soooooo fast, sleek, love the finger ID access for passwords and things. The battery I swear never dies! I used to live attached to outlets with my old one but this computer lasts forever! So glad I upgraded!

I've been on Macs for probably 15 years at this point, so I'm not here to tell you switching to Apple was some revelation. What I will tell you is that upgrading to this thing genuinely surprised me, and I don't get surprised easily anymore. I run GarageBand sessions with a lot going on. multiple tracks, heavy plugin loads, and this laptop just doesn't flinch. Playback is smooth, export is fast, and the fan stays quiet enough that it's never once crept into my recordings. 24GB of unified memory makes a real difference when you've got GarageBand open alongside a browser full of tabs and whatever else is running in the background. The 14-inch form factor is genuinely portable without feeling like you gave something up. Colors pop without looking fake. Space Black looks sharp in a way I didn't expect to care about but definitely do. Battery life is legitimately good. Only thing I'll say is that the price point requires some commitment. But I've been doing this long enough to know the difference between a machine that holds you back and one that gets out of the way. This one gets out of the way.

I recently updated to this M5 MacBook Pro from an intel based 2019 MacBook Pro. Wow - what a difference! Exponentially faster, and I haven’t heard my fan a single time. Apple silicon has changed the game and I am so glad I upgraded before starting my MBA program.

Runs great, build quality is perfect, and Apple ecosystem is near flawless

Although M4 MacAir and M5 MacPro are pretty close in performance, this MacPro is better in sound, screen resolution and built in ports. Also, the option of a 1TB hard drive puts it in front of the MacAir. It’s a bit more expensive, buts it’s worth the investment if you are not really tight on budget or stay at least 5 years with the same hardware.

Amazing as expected. It can easily handle extensive workflows like photo/video editing and software development. It always runs for hours before I have to get up for charging. On top of that, the M5 chip offers superior overall performance. You must go for it if you have similar workflows like me.

The upgrade from the Macbook Air M1 to the Macbook Pro M5 was well worth it. Better battery life that virtually lasts ALL day, significantly better and faster performance for heavy video editing, gets the job done, and doesn't freeze up. I have been using the Macbook Pro M5 for around a month and still have zero complaints.

My favorite feature is phone compatibility and fingerprint unlock feature.

Very powerful Processor, better battery life, high resolution screen

I have used MacBook Pro at my work for almost 10 years. Just one laptop for 10 years. I never had one personal laptop. This is my first personal laptop, I recently purchased new M5 MacBook Pro before a couple of weeks. I purchased at my age of 40, and after 15 years of Information Technology experience. And it is my own funded laptop, and not sponsored from my family or anyone. I have not updated the laptop till now, even my laptop was prompting to update the security update. Performance : 5/5 Ease of Use : 4.5/5 Battery : 5/5 Support : 3/5 Security : 😕 (Confused Smiley) Because, I don't know why security update is there Few simple words, if you need to do your work fast and get it done quickly, just go with it.

This is an impressive laptop. Handles photo and video editing with ease. Everyday tasks are no issue and games work well with no slowdowns. I upgraded from a 2018 MacBook with the Intel chip and the M5 is incredible. If you own an older MacBook, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this machine!

Using a macbook air for years you feel the difference in screen and responsiveness. You have to consider is a little bit heavier for obvious reasons but you get better battery life and an aditional fan

I’ma long time Mac user. I’m particularly happy with the battery life and the display sharpness on this iteration of the Mac Book. I also appreciate that they went back to the magnetic connection for the power cord.

Love my MacBook. Came from a Mac mini but just needed something I can carry with me for my photography business. Extremely fast and handles Lightroom and photoshop like a dream.

Totally blown away with performance compared to 10 year old IMac. Great computer so far and really good battery life especially for my uses.

wanted to replace my 2019 mbp 16 inch screen. wanted something smaller for easier travel. so far so good! can't wait to start video editing on it to really see the performance upgrade

This computer is very light weight! Very fast for video editing using Premier Pro. Runs faster than my Apple Desktop
