I have always been a windows guy. I love to tinker and play games while doing my own tech research. The last macbook pro i owned loved to death and ran to the ground. M5 has come light years ahead. Office, code bulld, this rig can handle what you throw at it while powering on in seconds. Could mac os use better app suppeot? Sure. But 3p is responsible for that. Hint hint gaming companies. Overall happy with my purchase. Sucks adding ram and ssd space is so cost prohibitive.

The “MacBook Pro 14”is an excellent item cause I needed it for college and it saves me energy. I hardly charged it the first day as well so it’s a good choice and it has a button for logging in and remembers my password so I highly recommend it thank you!!!

Love my new MacBook Pro with the M5 chip. The color on the display is so vibrant and rich, and I especially love how they removed the Digital Touch tool bar. It was something I really appreciated from my Mac book air M2 chip. Screen size is perfect - I do photo editing and some design work and don’t get super frustrated with the size. Overall I would say Apple went back to basics in the best way possible.

Battery lasts well, the sound is top it's a little slow, but I'm happy with the quality in general

I was debating this vs. the new M5 Air, but jumped on this when it was on sale making it $100 less than the comparable Air MSRP. Better screen, thermals, battery life, and more ports, all easily make it worth it over the Air. The standard M5 chip does everything I need and then some, including some smaller local LLMs like gemma4:e4b. In this moment in 2026 when RAM and storage prices have gone insane, Apple somehow has the best value-to-performance ratio laptops on the market. I wasn't able to find a comparable Windows/Linux laptop at the price in current market conditions.

Great product. The transition from PC to MAC was seamless. Most of my work involves signing in through the Windows app and it works perfectly, The only issue is the snipping tool, but the workaround is to go to the snipping tool inside of the Remote Desktop through the Start menu. This works perfectly,
