Display was excellent the speed was excellent along with battery life holds a charge for longer then it says

The Macbook Pro M5 Pro has been great. The screen is very good, but honestly I prefer larger external monitors for higher resolution and having text that I can actually read (I'm getting older). The system's performance has been very good. My typical usage is Xcode and coding apps, no game play. I have used Lightroom (classic) and it performs very well for that as well. I am new to Mac so still learning how things are done (vs MS "Winderz"). I've been enjoying the Pro and went with the base for everything on the M5 Pro (not the higher CPU count or screen, 24 GB RAM, 1TB HD). It has been very good and I would recommend if you can afford and have the need for the performance. It may be overkill if the performance isn't needed but I prefer getting higher end and not having regrets and wishing I had paid the extra to have a system that doesn't struggle later ("buy once, cry once")

Great processor and lots of storage. Had to upgrade after 7 years of my old MacBook. I am still very impressed by the user friendliness and all its newer features now. A laptop I can trust!

The M5 Pro is an amazing computer upgrade! I purchased the M1 Pro Mac in the fall of 2021 and I have used it until recently, until I traded in my M1 Pro for the M5 Pro. The specification are exactly what Apple described on their website when I was browsing for the latest version. Speeds are lightening fast and the screen resolution is phenomenal. I am looking forward to using this M5 Pro for the foreseeable future. Best Buy’s employee named Faith, did an excellent job helping me trade in my old M1 for the new M5. She genuinely had my best interest in mind for the entirety of my purchase. Thank you Faith and Best Buy for the ultimate MacBook shopping experience!

Overall, it's a great MacBook Pro except for one flaw. Great display with Promotion, decent selection of ports, and has active fan cooling for intensive tasks. Sadly if you're a wired headphone user that uses the 3.5mm port, there's a major issue if you use them while having the MagSafe charger plugged in, anytime you're scrolling through webpages or doing any activity on it, seems to make some kind of feedback noise through the wired headphones. The M5 MacBook Air is the better choice if you use 3.5mm wired headphones while have the MagSafe charger plugged in without hearing any feedback noise from doing any activity on it.

I am shocked how much snappier this MacBook compare to my m4 pro Mac mini, great battery life and zips right along. Very happy with the level of performance I’m getting out of this laptop.

I've been using this for the past week. Compared to m2, it's definitely faster while running multiple virtual machines; the display seems smoother and brighter, evidently.

Beautiful and powerful machine, very long battery life and good speakers. Worth for the price

As I would expect from an Apple laptop, excellent. Fast, powerful, all day battery. Love it.

The computer itself is really nice and runs very fast, but the customer service at Best Buy really made me sad. The cashier was super rude when I was trading in my computer and said this is worth nothing when I'd kept it in pretty good condition, nothing cracked or missing just minor scratches. I didn't want to be confrontational so I just accepted it and paid full price for the laptop itself. She then slammed the Macbook box at me across the counter, and dented the corner. I'm a bit upset at how I was treated, but the product itself is good. I will probably go through Apple itself next time, though.
