I’ve been wanting an Apple laptop for a long time and finally bought this one. I got the M5 chip and I’m highly impressed with it. I’m still learning some things but I know I purchased an excellent investment. Also, I thought I would need the largest screen size and actually see very well with the 14”. This is my first Apple laptop. I love it.

We were planning on purchasing a computer for our daughter to take to college in the fall. The need to speed up that plan was dictated by a technology problem the school has with the school-issued devices and the dual-enrollment requirements. We bought this computer in a hurry, but have been pleased with it so far. It has all the speed and memory needed our daughter needs for school.

Excellent PC , Love it ! It can handles heavy software and development without any lag. The design and wight is an add on :)

My Mac is very fast looks so elegant in the dark charcoal color. Movies look so clear and crisp as well as regular documents

The build quality is fantastic. I've had no software or hardware issues in the time since I've begun using it, which I can't say for other Windows laptops I've purchased. Everything works incredibly smoothly and the UNIX based OS is very handy for software development and quickly running commands, especially nice if you come from a Linux based development environment. There's little I can think of that I have an issue with, aside from the lack of a touchscreen. I can understand not wanting to make your iPad irrelevant but, wow, would it be a nice QoL improvement for more general daily usage

Excellent laptop. A little heavy in weight but very much manageable. Very good battery life

I got this for my college classes and honestly it works perfect! It's fast, smooth and efficient. It's a good size and it's thin and portable, not too heavy either. The speakers are one of the things I enjoy most since it's so crisp and decently loud. I haven't tested just how much it can handle yet but if you need a laptop that can handle standard college classes this is a good one to choose. The only thing I didn't like is how sometimes if you have a tab open that takes too much memory, it refreshes without asking and depending on what you're doing it could get rid of progress, It doesn't happen often at all but it's something to keep in mind.

Apple has always been ahead of the game with their laptops. I’ve never been more satisfied with a MacBook. It’s powerful, its use friendly, and it’s sturdy. There’s no doubt I’ll continue to be impressed as they evolve.

Works well, as expected. Out of the box, the power cord was defective (flashing orange light and wouldn't charge battery), but Best Buy Geek Squad helped me obtain a replacement quickly. I had a 16-inch MacBook Pro previously that had a touch bar, and I miss the touch bar, but other than that, no problems. It was far less expensive than the newest 16-inch.

Fast,reliable, great battery life, and startups are instant!

It my first mac computer since the apple newton. Im very happy with the purchase. With Crossover to play steam games, it is a decent gaming laptop.i was surprised though at how many games run natively. I didnt buy it for gaming though, it was just a pleasent suprise. Its secure lightweight and small. It handles all my daily tasks wonderfully and was easy to transition over from windows.

Runs cools and fast, screen is awesome but lacks touch screen ability.

Awesome! The M5 processor and graphics are fast and beautiful. The screen brightness amazed me. The keyboard is comfortable and the trackpad is responsive. I love it.

Was a Mac hatter for many years but I will say this has been my best laptop experience in a long time. Battery life is out of this world compared to windows PC’s I’ve owned over the years. Wireless screen mirroring to an iPad adds that touch of experience that really brings together the Apple eco system. Picture quality cannot be beat with the deep blacks and vibrant colors. As someone who spends a bit of time editing photos image quality is top notch. Only complaint I have is the edge of the chassis where you rest your wrist is a bit sharp and can become a bit irritating over an extended use day.

Purchased this as an upgrade from an older MacBook Air that was at the end of its life with updates. It provides a bright screen with better resolution. The battery life is comparable, with better performance. Hope that this model lasts as long as the last on did. No issues.

Purchased to replace an 11 year old MacBook Pro this unit is great! Transitioning the data was seamless. Big difference in speed, much faster. Stuck with MacBook because it has served me well in the past and I expect nothing less from this computer!

Picked the 14" cause it's perfect for the size.Also m5 upgrade was way better from my 2012.only thing i don't like about it is it gets scratched way to easy now.Other than that everything was great and it was on sale when i got it Black Friday.
