Upgraded from a 2017 MacBook Pro as it can no longer update the OS. Hardware still worked great; but wow, the speed of the M3 chip is certainly an upgrade despite the larger size and profile of the MacBook. Battery life is great, though we will see how it holds up over time. Crisp screen, solid keyboard, and the new braided Mag cord is much better than the old standard cord. More memory, power, and speed all for several hundred dollars less than when I bought seven years ago! Hoping it will last just as long!

I have been debating the merits of investing in a Macbook Pro for years. I wish I had pulled the trigger sooner. This laptop does everything I need it to do with zero hesitation. Didn’t feel like that much of an upgrade from my 2014 model with an optical drive as well as a standard hard drive. A bit faster (I got the m3 base model with 1 tb storage and 8gb of ram) . Nicer display. A bit lighter with weight. Better speakers. A sleeker and more uniformed design. Also staying up to date with the latest software is a plus. Overall Mac OS seems the same. I was hoping for better gaming integration but nothing has changed yet. Still the same old titles being playable. Rip.

My first Mac Book, I’ve always been a PC user but now I’m a Mac user for life. This is the best built computer I’ve ever used. The screen is crystal clear and the thing is fast. I’m sure I have not pushed it to its full capabilities. Though it was not cheap, I very happy with the purchase. I love how it pairs with my IPad.

Newer and faster than my old MacBook Pro from 2016 (which had more RAM). The screen is much higher quality and the new OS system has settings set up similar to iPhone. I also like the built in speakers next to the keyboard. My only complaint would be that they took away the USB ports so you need to buy a USB port attachment separately but overall very happy with it!

I've been a fan of Microsoft laptops and especially the surface pros. I always wanted one of these and I finally caught one. Couldn't wait to explore. This is more of a tablet and also a laptop. I love the keyboard and I can carry this and use just as my personal tablet especially with the snap rack in processor. It helps you too edit videos remove process images.

What I have understood from my experience and analysis of both the processors is that their performance is identical when it comes to day to day activities and using external applications like adobe and ms office suits . The deferential factor is the memory! M4 - 256 gb works as smooth as it can only till you have 50+ gb free then it works like a snail . Therefore go for the M3 with 1 TB as it works better in the long run ! Hope this helps you make a comprehensive decision
