Walked into Best Buy thinking I wouldn't buy anything. Went to the apple section to test the knowledge of the local sales people. Turned out they knew the product they were selling very well. Very surprising since I don't run into a lot of people today that care enough to be good at their job. That was the first selling point. Highly recommend the Winter Garden FL store. The sale person then explained all the ways I could save on the device today including how I could save money in the future (Which I actually did save money, explained later). Overall moved to a Mac because the sale experience and the knowledge gained about the product. Couldn't ask for a better experience. The person sold me apple care (always worth buying if you ever had to pay out of pocket for a Mac repair, parts are very expensive if they are major parts) and the bottom tier Best Buy membership. The laptop ended going on sale for less than I paid. Contacted their support and received a refund for the difference. The catch is that you have to monitor the price of the item you purchased for the eligible period. They won't just give you a refund if they put it on sale cheaper.

As an avid photographer who shoots with high resolution cameras, I need tons of storage space for storage. 16gb of ram would have made it perfect, but storage was the most important factor for me. The SD card reader makes it my choice over a MacBook Air.

I am a PC Windows person and had my doubts transitioning to a MacBook, however after a few weeks of "getting acquainted" with the features, I am feeling more confident and the am finding the MacBook Pro to be user friendly, intuitive and fun to use.
