    I purchased an open-box M3 Max in "excellent condition." However, the MacBook overheats even when I only use Safari. The battery lasts for only a few hours instead of the expected 18 hours and reducedbrightnessto 50%. I even set the battery mode to low performance. I regret spending $3,000 on a defective item. Moreover, Best Buy refused to replace their defective item because I reported the issue a few days after the return window period. I had not checked the Mac after purchase as I assumed Best Buy wouldn't lie about the Mac's condition. But I was wrong. Lesson learned.

    Purchased this laptop because apparently its fast however not the case. Ive had it for 6 months and google chrome/browsing is extremley slow. Also adobe illustrator.

    My battery life from 100% to 0 while browsing the web ends up being roughly 6 hrs... Had multiple appts with Apple store and they said everything is normal and nothing can be done. Expected battery life from Apple is a stretch
