Awesome Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, it is an excellent laptop- you won’t regret getting it. Excellent screen, speakers, keyboard. Fast & powerful. Battery life is incredible. This is a better value than getting the base model and adding more RAM and storage due to expensive upgrades. It is heavier than I expected. Also fingerprints show easily. My only big grip is the shape of the laptop makes it very difficult to pick up or put down on a table. The prior design had a curved bottom that allowed for your fingers to get underneath it to easily pick it up and put it down.

Amazing laptop, only downside is the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Mac laptop. My boss has sworn by macs for many years and most of the team poked lighthearted jokes about him being the only one who uses a mac. After many months of watching him work the speed at which he got tasks done was amazing to me and he credited it largely to his laptop being a Mac. My old windows laptop broke and I needed something powerful that I could travel with while still getting my programming done so I decided to take a leap of faith and see what all the fuss was about. I have enjoyed using a MacBook very much over the last few months, I have even cut down the amount of time using my desktop because I typically just grab my laptop when I need to get something done. The build is amazing, OS is sleek, speed and battery life are insane. I have used tons of windows laptops and I have been used to any sort power usage resulting in 2 hours of battery life before needing a charge, using this has spoiled me, I get over double what I used to on my windows laptop in between charges. The only downside that has serious weight in my mind was the price. I personally feel happy with my purchase, and would recommend to anyone who is doing some power hungry work on the go.

Happy Customer
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid user of Apple products, I recently upgraded to the latest MacBook Pro, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. From its sleek design to its powerful performance, this laptop truly sets a new standard in the industry. First and foremost, the design is impeccable. The slim aluminum body gives it a premium look and feel, while the Retina display is stunningly vibrant and sharp. Whether I'm working on spreadsheets or watching movies, the display never fails to impress. But what truly sets the MacBook Pro apart is its performance. Equipped with the latest Intel processor and ample RAM, multitasking feels effortless. I can seamlessly switch between demanding applications without any lag or slowdown. Whether I'm editing photos or coding, the MacBook Pro handles everything with ease. The Touch Bar is another standout feature. It adds a new level of functionality to the laptop, allowing me to customize shortcuts and access controls with just a tap. It's intuitive and enhances productivity without cluttering the keyboard. The battery life is also commendable. I can go through a full day of work without needing to reach for the charger, thanks to the efficient optimization of macOS and the hardware. Of course, the MacBook Pro isn't without its drawbacks. The lack of ports can be inconvenient at times, especially for professionals who rely on a variety of peripherals. Additionally, the price point may deter some potential buyers, but in my opinion, the quality and performance justify the investment. Overall, the MacBook Pro is a masterpiece of engineering. It combines cutting-edge technology with elegant design, making it the ultimate choice for professionals and creatives alike. If you're in the market for a high-performance laptop that doesn't compromise on style, look no further than the MacBook Pro.

Still a solid contender in 2025
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First a little about me. I am a professional touring musician and a part time videographer so I ask a lot from my laptop. I have been a lifelong windows PC enthusiast minus the year or 2 I spent with an intel MacBook Air in 2016. I have built my own desktop PC's for years and swore by the fact that you get more for your money with windows. Sadly I have eaten those words over the past decade. My wallet has been through multiple "gaming" or "premium windows based laptops over the past 9 years. my experience with major brands hasn't been that great. Multiple windows devices failing on me after a few years (HP Omen that lasted just over a year before the motherboard died) to a 6 month old Lenovo Legion Oled (that gave me 7 months before I had to send it in due to an already dying battery.) to a dated Microsoft surface that gets hot to the touch just trying to run a simple photoshop project. As with all high powered windows devices, these devices are power hogs. I brought my charger everywhere. I could never trust a live recording or working on a video project on battery. Needless to say, I had become leary of trusting any windows device fully. Don't even get me started on the constant crashes in adobe or davinci. I made it a point to save every project every 15 minutes so I wouldn't lose too much if it crashed. I have heard the rave reviews regarding the apple M chips and have had my eye out for a deal but never pulled the trigger until last month when I came across this laptop at an amazing price. although still priced higher than windows devices with semi comparable specs, I decided to dive in knowing I had a few weeks of a return period to make up my mind. Needless to say, I loved this device so much that I went and bought a second 16 MacBook Pro with the M4 pro for my home setup and have fully moved all of my applications to Mac full time. These "pro" line of chips are that good! I have yet to experience an app crash or random system shutdown. I can confidently leave my charger in the hotel room as I know I can easily go a day or 2 without juice. The speakers on these devices also leaves room for other items as I no longer need to pack a bluetooth speaker. The sound is that good and easily fills a hotel room with excellent sound. The screens although not OLED, have amazing contrast and colors are accurate. I know that I can trust my color correction on either of my MacBooks. video rendering is quick and rivals my desktop with a 4070 ti super which honestly surprised me even further. CPU side feels snappy and I never feel the need for more headroom. My only suggestion is 18 gigs of ram can get crowded if you are working large projects. Thankfully the SSD's on these "pro" models are fast and doesn't hiccup too much when you run into swap memory. Having both this model as well as the M4pro 16 model ( 20 core, GPU 48 gigs of ram) , I can say this m3 pro model is more than enough for 99% of people. The difference other than screen size is pretty negligible and I don't feel I am missing out when I pack this smaller model when I head back out on the road. Congratulations Apple, you cured my windows addiction in a hurry and I haven't looked back!

A fantastic all around machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second MacBook Pro, replacing one purchased over eight years ago. It's been incredible thus far. Running VM for windows and having all my MacOS stuff running at the same time has been great. The screen is amazing, the battery life exceeds expectations. A fantastic machine all around. The Space Black color is really nice, a little more prone to fingerprints/oils, but nothing too distracting. Highly recommended.

What more could you want? Simply amazing.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic computer. Upgraded from a 2015 15 inch Intel MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM. This computer was a massive upgrade. And I really appreciate the 14 inch screen in the smaller and lighter body than I had before. My main issue with my previous laptop was the weight and portability. This solves both issues while still having a large enough and beautiful display. It is lightning fast. Runs games perfectly while barely spinning up the fan. In fact I’ve never heard the fan even while playing resident evil and hearthstone. The speakers are genuinely amazing. The keyboard is great. The laptop is super solid and feels very premium. I love the port selection. And Mac OS just keeps getting better and better. Being in the Apple eco system feels magical at times when using continuity features between my iPad, iPhone Apple Watch and Apple TV. I could not recommend this laptop more. Lastly the battery life is exceptional. It lasts me multiple days before I need to charge it. Even playing an hour or two of games a day, listening to music, editing photos and videos. Absolutely incredible.

Superb Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing laptop, the M3 Pro chip even at its base model is stupid fast. It runs everything I throw at it, including some games on a Windows VM. Battery life isn’t a concern either, I can go for about 2 days with moderate usage, and 3 if used lightly, even with this beautiful display. Speaking of the display, it really is beautiful. 14 inches is perfect for me, and the brightness is overkill. HDR content on it is amazing and ProMotion is something I’ve never seen on any other laptop, at least in some form. The keyboard is an A+, that’s all I need to say. Same goes for the trackpad, Apple has had some of the best trackpads in the game for a while now and it shows. Sure it’s expensive, and not really that different from the last 2 models, but this laptop in my opinion isn’t meant as an upgrade for someone with a M1 Pro chip or above. It’s meant for people who have either an older Intel-based Mac, or for someone who uses Windows and this is their first Mac. MacOS is easy enough to learn and once you’re used to it, it’s not difficult to navigate. Overall this is a (almost) do it all laptop and I would recommend it
