Such A Nice Computer!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent computer works very well and is super efficient. This is my first Macbook, and I'm not disappointed. The hype is so worth it. I was first thinking of getting the 16" but heard a lot of people saying that it's too big to travel with and heavy, so I'm glad that I decided to go with the 14" because this is more than enough. I use it mainly for class, and it can run smoothly even when I have multiple tabs open simultaneously. The battery lasts me for about 2 whole days, the speed is so good, and the display is so crisp. It's an awesome computer I'm very satisfied with my purchase and hope to use it for many years.

Love the latest MacBook Pro!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the machine for about six weeks now. Just rock solid, stable and fast. love the screen, keyboard, Touchpad and all of the new ports. I offered for the black, which is really a dark gray. I think it looks much better with the contrasting black keys. After having used a MacBook Air M2 with 8 GB, I believe 16 GB is the minimum for anything beyond casual surfing. Some of my zoom calls on the old machine would get jumpy when memory pressure would build with other applications open. the new MacBook Pro has been stable and smooth.

awsome speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new M3 Pro MacBook Pro 14-inch continues Apple's tradition of sleek, minimalist design. The M3 chip is about 20% faster than the M2 chip used in the MacBook Air and other machines and about 40% faster than the original M1 chips from 2020. The base model can output to a single external monitor and ships with only 8GB of memory, which is likely to be perfectly fine for now but may become a limiting factor in the future. The Space Gray finish gives it a professional and modern look. Performance The M3 Pro chip is a game-changer. It offers significant improvements in both CPU and GPU performance compared to the M1 and M2 series. I am loving my new macbook this is pefrect for my needs .

Does not disappoint.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The machine itself is excellent. More than quick enough for my needs, amazing battery life, screen looks great, keyboard feels great and I love how MacOS integrates with my iPhone/iPad. Played Minecraft for a bit with graphics/render distance all the way up and was not disappointed. Unfortunately, many programs such as Autodesk's Revit / Autocad (Arch Pack) are not supported on Mac so I cannot honestly recommend any Mac as a single machine to rely on but if you have a Windows device around that you can use for those Windows-only programs you may need (or don't mind going through the hassle of running Windows on a Mac) then this is a great daily driver! So far, I am more than satisfied and I am pretty sure this will be a reliable laptop for many years to come.

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its been a few weeks since the purchase of my first apple product. Im not keen with apple products so I had to adapt. Its the most money I ever spent on a laptop and so far I am happy with the product. Battery life is excellent compared to a regular laptop The 18gb ram , 14 core gpu seems pretty quick on video editing and some entry level animation programs. Display is well, but web camera is 1080p if im not mistaken. Overall, a decent purchase

Very Strongly worth considering for upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you haven't upgraded your Macbook in the past >3 years then it's worth 'considering' an upgrade. M3 Pro chip and the high RAM is great to have for the long run. 512GB is alright considering there is cloud option for storing large amount of images and videos. I prefer to save on storage a bit and go with higher performance. Can't help notice the fan noise although it's on the quiet end of the spectrum. Display is hands down one of the best as expected. Large track pad is great to have. For the love of god... buy a screen protective cloth when you buy a MacBook, the screen could potentially get keyboard pattern imprinted if you're unlucky because of the coating the display has.

Stunning laptop in every way.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The capability of this laptop is incredible. Plus the space black is beautiful. Apple products are always top quality materials and this is certainly no exception. For the every day user, this one might be overkill. But if you ever do some video or photo editing this is a must. It has kept up with everything that I’ve thrown at it. Plus the ability to use type C for data and charging has been a huge plus. The battery life has been excellent even when editing. If you need a reliable and beautiful laptop this should be at the top of your list.

The Ultimate CS Student Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a Computer Science student, I needed a machine that could handle heavy IDEs, Docker containers, and virtual machines without breaking a sweat, and the MacBook Pro M3 (14-inch) delivers exactly that. Performance & Workflow The M3 chip is incredibly efficient. Whether I’m compiling C++ code or running local LLMs for research, the build times are significantly faster than my previous machine. The 14-inch form factor is the perfect middle ground—it fits easily on cramped lecture hall desks but provides enough screen real estate for split-screen coding (VS Code on one side, documentation on the other). The Display & Keyboard The Liquid Retina XDR display is a game-changer for long coding sessions. The high refresh rate (ProMotion) makes scrolling through thousands of lines of code feel butter-smooth, which surprisingly reduces eye strain. The keyboard feels tactile and reliable, which is a must when you're typing all day. Battery Life & Portability The battery life is the real MVP. I can go through a full day of classes, labs, and study sessions without ever hunting for a power outlet. Even under a heavy dev load, it sips power compared to Intel-based laptops. Pros: • Thermal Management: Even during long compiles, the fans rarely kick on, and it stays cool. • Port Selection: Having an HDMI port and SD slot is great for presentations and external storage. • Portability: Light enough to carry between buildings all day. Cons: • Price: It’s a significant investment, but for a degree that relies entirely on your hardware, it’s worth the premium. • Base Memory: Make sure to spec your RAM (Unified Memory) according to your specific workflow needs, as it isn't upgradeable later. Bottom Line: If you are a student looking for a laptop that will last through your entire degree and into your first job, this is it.

Macbook Pro - Space black
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Pro M3 Pro in Space Black is a performance powerhouse. It is blazing fast. It is impressively portable. The thin and lightweight design makes it easy to carry, yet it doesn’t compromise on the user experience. First time Apple introduced a space black color laptop and i love it. Only issue is the charger brick and the magsafe cable which is still white in color which looks odd. If you are professional, this is the laptop for you.

The horsepower trumps the weight.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to retire my MacBook Pro mid-2015 15" b/c -- even after replacing the battery -- I couldn't use it unplugged. And the hard drive got corrupted to the point I couldn't do a system start-up. Bought it in early 2016, got good mileage out of it, figured it was time for an upgrade. best Buy had some solid deals for end of summer / back to school, and the MacBook Pro 14" M3 Pro stood out, seemed like the right price point even with the taxes. PROS Battery life -- wow. Seriously, knocking on wood b/c there's no way on earth this is going to last. I am running Excel with multiple 1000-line workbooks, Word, multiple codespaces, streaming videos and i have 50 tabs open (need to get organized, i know) all simultaneously since 6:30am (it's 2pm now) and I'm still at 50%. Camera: not much different than prior MacBook Pro versions, it gets the job the done. Ports: awesome. thank you Apple for rediscovering that ports make our lives easier. CONS Weight -- it's heavy. And surprisingly thick. Probably b/c of the additional fan and ports, but compromises are necessary. The crap ThinkPad my company forces me to use is slimmer. And my old 2015 macbook pro 15" weighs less and just felt sleeker, almost like a macbook air. But if this is the tradeoff for performance, then it's a small price to pay. The cutout in the body to open the laptop (no idea what the right term is nor do I care) . How have the world's master designers not realized that when you open your laptop using the cut-out or whatever they call it, your fingers will smudge the camera .

Power and Precision in a Premium Package
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Macbook Pro The MacBook Pro excels in performance, especially with Apple's M3-series chips, offering fast processing, excellent battery life, and a stunning Liquid Retina XDR display. The build quality is top-notch, and recent models bring back useful ports like HDMI and an SD card slot. While it's pricey and lacks a touchscreen, it's still a top choice for professionals needing a powerful, reliable laptop.

Great Computer for Moderate Video Editing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Mac. I owned a 3rd gen iPad, so some of the general stuff was somewhat similar (such as settings). But I have been a lifelong Windows user. So coming to Mac has been an adjustment. But I have adjusted well and have enjoyed much of this computer. It is lightweight compared to my old Dell gaming laptop (which I used for video editing). The primary reason for going with the MacBook Pro was for video editing. I am not a heavy editor but do edit for YouTube. So I was not looking for something that a professional would use full time but something that would not bog down. My daughter has a MacBook Air M1 and does some editing on it, but said it does slow down for her. This seemed to fit the bill for what I was looking for. And it has not disappointed. I am using DaVinci Resolve and it works well. It does help that my camera only shoots in 1080p (even though it is a DSLR). As for adjusting to using a Mac vs a Windows PC, it has taken some getting used to. The keystrokes are different from a Windows PC. I still find myself hitting the 'control' button when I mean to hit 'command'. It took me a little time to get used to the track pad. But now I find it almost easier to use than a mouse. But it does not help that I still use a PC at work. Overall, this computer has been great for what I do. Would have I gotten the Pro if I were not video editing? Probably not. I would not have gone any further than an Air. But this is a fast computer, not to mention lightweight, especially compared to my Dell (which was quite a bit heavier and bulkier). The Mac is also great with the battery. When I am just doing general stuff, I find I am not even charging my battery for a few days. My Dell I could go only a couple of hours. I would recommend this all day long for heavier computing. The Air is best for lighter tasks and students writing term papers. For just email and surfing, probably just an iPad would be best suited.

Not a fanboy, but I am a fan of this computer.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.performance is amazing, battery life is amazing - but the performance on battery...now theres something that still blows me away, 3 months into using the machine. Apple hype aside, this is a great computer. Base storage is a tad low, but an external SSD with high transfer speeds (which i use plenty of anyways for A/V content) make it a non issue for me.
