The M3 chipset for virtualization and training ML models has been an absolute beast. As a long time Linux purist I can honestly say I have swapped to Apple for my host machine. So far I’ve put this device to the test with password cracking, ML training data, and multiple VMs running at the same time with zero degradation.

I went from my MacBook Air from 2011 to a brand new MacBook Pro and I do not regret it! Works well for all things I’ve done so far, and I look forward to whatever the future holds.

Fast, reliable and sturdy. Expect it to last through Grad School. Dismayed with the Windows based offerings, found this Mac at a great price point during a BB sale. I could not pass it up. Glad I switched!

This new M3 pro chip has this Mac Book pro ready to go right out the box. I do a lot of video editing and this Mac can handle the large files with ease. This is my first MacBook Pro and I love it!!

What a great little laptop this is, stays cool runs everything i throw at it without a hiccup. I'm upgrading all my tech to their eco-system. This thing pairs great with my ipad pro m4 for graphic design.

Was very shocked it’s my first time owning a MacBook Pro of the newer generation, and I was very shocked that the quality the craftsmanship of the Apple product is exactly what I was thinking. It would be like having a Rolex. Everybody should have a MacBook Pro quality.

Amazing computer with an even better processing power. I needed one for photo editing, and this one is amazing. I can even play Minecraft at high fps (approx 120) consistently!!! Haven’t tried other games, but reviews said that it is able to run a great speeds.

I have no regrets in purchasing this laptop, especially the fit and finish. Battery life is second to no windows laptop and the OS is silky smooth for productivity. Overall, a great laptop that will last a long time.

This is our first ever Mac Book. It was always a dream and Thank God for Best Buy. Love the ease. It's fast, and love the layout of the apps. Love the software. Battery lasts a really long time, it even amazed my son.

Went in to Best Buy to buy a new Mac. Had a few questions to determine which model I thought would be best for my needs. The sales associate was very helpful and friendly. Made the purchase and was walking out the door within 30 minutes. Great experience and I love my new MacBook.

Excellent value for money, best bang for the buck.

I am by no means a tech person--but I am dating a tech person. My old MacBook Air was not working as well after 2 years of Telehealth usage during the pandemic--I couldn't have a teams call, share my screen, and operate a browser without 10+ second lags. This new computer does it all so efficiently! I love it.

Perfect for school and work use! Capable of working in multiple programs without skipping a beat or needing to wait while the computer ‘thinks.’ My last two MacBooks lasted over 10 years each and I am confident this one will also!

First off, let's get the positives out of the way. This thing is beautiful to look at; truly a well-made piece of machinery and tech. Second, it is FAST. Ridiculously so. Multitasking (I will get to that in a second) isn't a problem... ...until it runs out of memory. Now let me explain, and I've had the same problems with the M1 and M2 Macbook pros. I ran a virtual machine (still needed windows for some things) using about 6 GB of the available ram, leaving the rest for other tasks I was running. 50% of the time my laptop would shut down saying there wasn't enough memory to run the machine. This is the same issue I have had with the prior chips since Apple left Intel behind. Very, very frustrating, causing me to restart tasks several times, or, even worse, if I ran things overnight, it would stop working, delaying what I was trying to accomplish. Got to the point where I ended up selling it. Disappointing, but like any relationship, the ugly comes out sometimes after the romance period ends.
