    Apple Mail sucks

    The MacBook Pro is fine, but the Apple Mail app is really glitchy. It locks up in the middle of writing an email so the laptop needs to be restarted.

    Beware In-store or curb-side pick-up

    Purchased 2 of these laptops online as Christmas gifts and selected curb-side pick-up because I thought it would be easier. Both laptop boxes had handwriting on them and dented corners, and were not suitable for gift giving. I went into the store (Potomac Yards, Alexandria, VA) to exchange them and was told all of the laptops in the store have handwriting on them so that employees can tell them apart. Begs the question why employees cannot simply read the printed information on the box or the store cannot use removable labels that do not deface the product. For a $2,000 laptop Best Buy should understand it should look like it does in the Apple store, not like it came out of a discount, used product bin. Apple used to wrap their laptops in cellophane, but these are not, and Best Buy does not take appropriate care to keep the outer packaging in a presentable condition. I contacted BestBuy.com for assistance in replacing the items and was told they could not help me. They said because I had selected in-store/curb-side pick-up rather than having them shipped to me they could not assist me and my only recourse is through the store (which had already told me they have defaced all laptops in stock). Needless to say, I will be returning these. I have been a Best Buy customer for nearly 30 years, have often used in-store pick-up, and have never previously been informed that selecting in-store pickup negates my ability to obtain assistance from Best Buy's online Customer Service. If you want to receive a product with a presentable appearance for gift giving, purchase from a different retailer. Also, be warned about selecting in-store/curb-side pick-up for any purchases, because your only recourse in the event of issues with your order apparently will be the local store itself.

    Purchased MacBook Pro m3 pro 16gb 512gb storage. Device broke after 3 and half month. Took it to Apple Store. contacted apple after 9 days. Status unknown. So I believe apple started making cheap product for more profit. Or they are doing this to forcibly sell apple care to the customer.
