Super fast, very solid for everything I need it for. I mainly do picture and video editing and work remote so I do use VDI on it. This was my upgrade from my 2015 MacBook Pro, and it is a very worthy update speed and performance wise. The battery life is fantastic on this and it is lighter to take on travel.

I’ve been using the MacBook for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a solid experience. It’s light, easy to carry around, and looks nice. The screen is really clear, and everything runs pretty smoothly. I mostly use it for everyday stuff like browsing, watching videos, and work tasks, and it handles all of that without any issues. The battery life is actually better than I expected – I can go most of the day without charging. It works really well with my iPhone too, which is convenient. Things like AirDrop and copy-paste between devices make life a bit easier.

This is my second MacBook Pro, replacing one purchased over eight years ago. It's been incredible thus far. Running VM for windows and having all my MacOS stuff running at the same time has been great. The screen is amazing, the battery life exceeds expectations. A fantastic machine all around. The Space Black color is really nice, a little more prone to fingerprints/oils, but nothing too distracting. Highly recommended.

I’m really happy with it. The performance is incredibly smooth — apps open instantly, the screen is super sharp, and the battery life is easily some of the best I’ve ever experienced on a laptop. Coming from Windows, there is a small learning curve. Some shortcuts and system settings work differently than what I’m used to, but after a few days it starts to feel natural. macOS is clean, fast, and stable, and the integration with other Apple devices is a nice bonus. The Space Black finish also looks amazing in person — premium and modern without being flashy. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about switching from Windows or upgrading their current Mac.

Amazing laptop, the M3 Pro chip even at its base model is stupid fast. It runs everything I throw at it, including some games on a Windows VM. Battery life isn’t a concern either, I can go for about 2 days with moderate usage, and 3 if used lightly, even with this beautiful display. Speaking of the display, it really is beautiful. 14 inches is perfect for me, and the brightness is overkill. HDR content on it is amazing and ProMotion is something I’ve never seen on any other laptop, at least in some form. The keyboard is an A+, that’s all I need to say. Same goes for the trackpad, Apple has had some of the best trackpads in the game for a while now and it shows. Sure it’s expensive, and not really that different from the last 2 models, but this laptop in my opinion isn’t meant as an upgrade for someone with a M1 Pro chip or above. It’s meant for people who have either an older Intel-based Mac, or for someone who uses Windows and this is their first Mac. MacOS is easy enough to learn and once you’re used to it, it’s not difficult to navigate. Overall this is a (almost) do it all laptop and I would recommend it

This new MacBook Pro represents my return to the Mac operating system after an absence of about six years, after I traded my only previous MacBook model, a late 2015 13 inch Pro, back in 2017. That model was a decent, not great laptop, but this new 14 inch model is a monumental leap in quality from the Intel chip models. It easily surpasses the Windows laptops I have been using since 2017. The image quality of the Pro's screen is wonderful, the sound from the speakers is great, and the overall speed of the new M3 Pro MacBook Pro is superb. It easily handles every task. I have yet to find any flaws in the design or operation of this device. The new Space Black color is very good at hiding fingerprints, which I was initially almost afraid to get, but I am glad I did. I highly recommend this laptop.

    MacBook Step Up

As a devout Apple customer, the MacBookPro was the obvious choice for an upgrade from my MacBook Air laptop. I looked at all choices between purchasing directly from Apple utilizing my Apple Goldman Sachs account with no interest. The MacBook Pro basic M4 series was comparable in price but lacked the added RAM and M3 Pro chip that was available from BestBuy. With the equivalent ”No Interest” option with monthly installments via myBestBuy VISA account it was clearly the choice to go with BestBuy. My only concern was that it would T be brand new but refurbished which wasn’t an option I was interested in. The MacBook was indeed a factory sealed, brand new unopened product. The battery life is surprisingly long between charges for the amount of speed a d power the laptop performs at compared to my MacBook Air. The screen is remarkable and colors and resolution is worth the money spent, I believe this laptop will carry me into the next decade.

    Video Games or Music Production?

It’s a thing of beauty, but from what Ive heard and read its been somewhat neutered by Apple intentionally to “force” people to upgrade to the Max version. Idk, it’s a significant upgrade for me from my 8gb ram M1 Pro. The XDR (Apple’s proprietary HDR) implementation is a sight to behold. Apple released their liquid motion 120hz display last gen in M2 Macbooks, which I very much wished they had done for M1 Macs, so it’s lovely having that now. That alone makes it feel far faster/better. Apple’s push into pc gaming is great to see, and this ran the whole excellent game of the year Baldurs Gate 3 really well, however oddly when I logged into the Elder Scrolls Online I was quite disappointed in the performance. My ROG Ally at nearly 1/4 the price plays it better, although not as well as the M3 plays BG3. I love streaming games locally from my desktop pc rig to my ROG Ally which does a great job de/encoding and handling the wifi, so I tried it using Moonlight on the M3 and unfortunately I was disappointed again - the input latency is worse and it has a tendency to lose frames somehow. Its not terrible and its better than the M1 imo, but again outclassed by the ROG Ally at 1/4 the price. Alright - all of that said - the main reason I am even using a Mac instead of a Windows PC is to produce and play music on the Apple OS. The Apple workflow, environment, the stability, the efficiency while on battery - and the clean, efficient file/folder structure makes Apple computers stay fresh and new feeling. It appears to be the exact opposite in Windows computers which makes me want to (and actually do) reformat and reinstall Windows OS fresh at least every 6-12 months because of how cluttered and inefficient the OS and file structure is! Windows is a HOARDER, and I cant be inspired or as creative in that environment. I guess Im a neat freak. So be it. It sucks, because I am such a life long gamer and it would have been really really nice to have the power of that 13th gen i9 Intel + RTX 4080 combo I saw for $600 off on sale at $1999 (I think it was an alienware?), everything about it seemed perfect for me including a sweet AMOLED screen. So if you’re in a position where you prioritize work/music/creativity/graphic design over gaming - I say go with Apple. The M3 Pro can still do some moderate gaming, but not nearly as well as a Windows machine. If you’re in it mostly for playing video games and work/business/music is not much of a consideration - then the choice is easy friends.

The new MacBook Pro M3 Pro from Apple is a game-changer in the world of laptops. Its sleek design and stunning Retina display are immediately impressive, delivering vibrant colors and sharp details. The performance is outstanding, thanks to the M3 Pro chip, which handles demanding tasks and multitasking with ease. Battery life is phenomenal, allowing me to work all day without worrying about recharging. The keyboard is comfortable and responsive, making typing a joy, and the trackpad is precise and smooth. The sound quality is top-notch, with immersive audio that enhances music, movies, and video calls. Connectivity options are plentiful, with multiple Thunderbolt ports and an SD card slot, making it incredibly versatile for various needs. The seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem is a significant advantage, allowing effortless syncing with my other Apple devices. Overall, the MacBook Pro M3 Pro is a powerhouse of performance, design, and functionality. It’s perfect for professionals and creatives who need reliability and efficiency in a sleek, portable package. Highly recommended!

Got it during Black Friday Sale. Its been couple of weeks but the color still mesmerizes me. The Ram is suficient and processor takes whatever i threw at it. I experienced Shared memory usage during high intensity apps but yet to hear the fan noise ,Tells you how refined it is. I have used it for heavy games, Programming and Entertainment. A 10/10 experience as always with best buy.

I got this as a late birthday gift for myself and let me just say as someone coming from being a Windows user for 10+ years the switch feels so good. I’m still getting used to being on Mac but everything about it is just amazing. The M3 Pro with 18GB of ram is very very great for gaming like Roblox and Sims and honestly this MacBook Pro is just like if Apple made a gaming laptop. You dont even need the Max chip!! And honestly I’ve had such a fun time getting to know macOS. Best laptop ever! And it rarely ever gets warm or hot!

Amazing laptop! Coming from a 2017 MacBook Air 13.3 inch, this is worlds apart! the display is immaculate and the laptop, although a little chunky (its a pro, not an air), is very lightweight. If weight is a huge factor, get the air as it is lighter and more portable in that sense. The MacBook is super fast and the pro chip is a step above the M3 and the rest of the competition. I personally would never want to purchase a Microsoft computer after my MacBook due to built in virus protection, more sleeker designs, better trackpad, and much more. The MacBook Pro 14 appeals to many including college students, professional editors/coders, and even the average Joe doing their tax returns. Programs are lightning fast the boot-up time is insanely fast. Can't say enough good about this laptop. 100 percent recommend, although a bit pricy, is worth it completely!

I’m really happy with my MacBook Pro 14" with the M3 Pro chip—it’s honestly the best buy I’ve made at this price. The specs are amazing, especially the 18GB memory and 14-core GPU, which make it super fast and reliable. I’ve been using it mainly for work, and it’s been perfect. Training machine learning models is quick and smooth, which saves me so much time. Everything runs effortlessly, and the performance stays consistent no matter what I’m working on. On top of that, the design is sleek, and the display is stunning. It’s been a great experience overall, and I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a powerful and efficient laptop for both work and personal use.

This is the best iteration of the MacBook Pro 14". It has had excellent pricing promotions, especially if you are a Best Buy Member, down to $1750. The newer chips in low power mode are excellent. Giving you more battery off the charger than ever, feeling like it rivals the original M1 16". As far as use case, I do IT work and play RTS games in parallels. The M2 Pro brought a good performance uplift and this pushes it further. While the M3 Pro is not a monumental jump, moving up the bar continuously matters, and you feel it in performance and battery life. I also think the M3 Pro matches the 14" thermals a bit better as the heatsink is so much smaller than the 16". 18GB of memory is also great. It is a little slower than the M2 Pro's however, with that kind of space, my Parallels VM can run at 8GB without causing the PC to start using swap memory (saving to the SSD). With all of that said, this is a 14" powerhouse with better battery life and much better pricing after its initial launch. It took a full year before the 14" M2 Pro hit $1599. I would spend the extra for this for battery life.

The MacBook Pro 14" with the M3 Pro chip is a winner through and through. Apple continues to impress with their M series chips. I upgraded from the already awesome MacBook Pro 14" with the M1 Pro chip. This laptop offers excellent speed, tremendous battery life, a fantastic mini-LED screen that comes very close to OLED, the best laptop sound system I've ever heard and a comfortable (evenly) backlit keyboard to round it all out. Port selection also remains abundant like its predecessor. It would have been nice to see Wi-Fi 7 and Face ID for login, but Wi-Fi 6E is certainly up to the task and Touch ID get the job done for quick and easy logins. The only negative I can come up with is the new Space Black color does tend to show fingerprints more, but it is a gorgeous color. I definitely recommend this laptop - buy one, you will not be disappointed!
