Omg what a beast! The M3 Pro is so fast compared to my desktop I7 and old laptop. I have opened tons of apps and running benchmarks and I could not slow this machine down.

I upgraded from the M2 Air to this M3 Pro and the difference was incredible. I have been extremely satisfied. And the look of the Space Black is incredible!

First Mac ive bought since 2012. Bought a few windows laptops in between but they never lasted. The battery, display and materials on this are great. Would recommend.

Great machine at great price. You should keep an eye out for Best Buy sales as there hard to beat and even with the M4 about to drop, with the $500 in savings from Apple's price you can't go wrong (even smoked refurbished models prices). People have mentioned screen, and it is great, but have seen as many mention the sound, which also really impressed me for a laptop and I wasn't expecting at all. Kudos all around on a well built machine.

This macbook pro is extremely fast and is buttery smooth when browsing the web and working. Battery life is great too! It stays on for days at a time.

My older 2017 MacBook was due for an upgrade. This was quite a bit of overkill but the price was right! Super fast, more storage. I sort of miss the Touch Bar from the old one, gets used to this one though. Glad I did the upgrade.

My first Apple laptop was an iBook (I still have it). Since then, I've progressed through the MacBook Air series up to the 2020 M1 MBA. They served me well and performed everything that I needed to do when away from my desktop Macs. However, going forward, I'm anticipating more demanding use out of a laptop so I started looking at upgrading. The 15" MBA looked good with the bigger screen, better sound and newer processor. When the M3 MBPs came out, I decided that the additional $$ from the 15" MBA to the 14" MBP M3 Pro was worth it for what I would get and how long I think I'll hang on to it. I am not disappointed! I am happy with my 14" MBP M3 Pro machine and its Space Black color.

I have two words “ Love it “ like a true Apple it performs as you expect my last pro book was 13 years old. You definitely get your moneys worth.

This is a great portable laptop that can handle any of the day to day tasks with ease, and great to get some editing done on.

Finally caved and upgraded from my Macbook Pro that I purchased in 2016 that was finally struggling to keep up with my more demanding web dev projects. Its an unbelievable upgrade from that one, and the build quality is so much better than I imagined. Definitely feels like a $2000 computer compared to some others. Coding on it is a breeze, and the battery life has been terrific so far, even while running emulators for mobile development. Very happy with my purchase.

The new MacBook M3 Pro with 18GB of RAM falls short for serious development work. In my experience, 18GB doesn’t quite meet the demands of modern development environments, especially when handling resource-intensive tasks. Apple would better serve developers by starting at a base configuration of 24GB RAM, offering more breathing room for multitasking and heavy workflows. Additionally, the reduction in cores compared to its predecessor is a notable drawback, impacting performance during parallel tasks. While this MacBook is suitable for day-to-day browsing and general use, the MacBook Air is more than adequate for such lighter activities at a more reasonable price point. For developers looking for a seamless experience, especially with complex coding projects, the M3 Pro feels like an average option at best.
