I have to say - I got an open box MacBook Pro, it's great on its own and I saved a considerable amount of money $500. The laptop is powerful, I love the touch menu bar and I love how fast things operate compared to my 2013 - excellent. Awesome experience with the automated purchase online, no issues - very professional and I enjoyed not having to interact with the store people outside of the pickup guy.

If you use Final Cut Pro for you editing software… this is one will do you justice. Since I have the 256gb model, I do recommend getting an external hard drive to edit off of At times the fans do kick on as well but that’s to be expected coming from such a sleek slim machine editing 4k 10-bit footage. By the way, I did purchase the 500gb SanDisk extreme PRO external ssd. It reads and writes about 900/mbs on both ends. Beware though, it gets EXTREMELY HOT!

MacBook Pro is amazing & fast!! I’m New to the IOS system transitioning from Surface/Microsoft, I am amazed at all the tricks and simplicity of Apple, I also bought the Magic Mouse 2, and that to was very impressive! I’m to new to rate the entire package however, I’m pretty positive that I will be enjoying my MacBook Pro for a very long time.

I use it for editing my photos! Which is the greatest!

I got this laptop literally about 5months ago and it stopped charging 2 days ago, i got on the phone with Apple support non of troubleshooting steps worked, now I'm forced to drop it off at some apple repair store provided by Apple. This is not happy experience when you spent over $2300 on laptop and 5 months down the line already having issues.

I don't necessarily care for touch screen computers, but do appreciate the Touch Bar with this one. Makes some suctions easier and faster. Great design, size, and weight. Works fast and and great display.

I've been around mac my entire life since the Mac G3. These computers get better and better each time, especially this one. The quality on the retina screen is amazing! the computer itself is not heavy for being on the larger side comparing to today's standards. battery life is great, I work from it and I always have to use a platform software along with 4-7 tabs open constantly while running 3 monitors and I can say this computer runs it like if it's just a text document. the touch bar is extremely useful, though I was not a huge fan of it before owning it, but now i see it's full potential use and it's a time saver. The keyboard feels great, it just takes a little to get used to the small key travel compared to older MacBooks and/or desktop's keyboards. Overall I give this computer a 4 star. This would be a 5 star if it wasn't that Apple decided to make all the components on-board rather than slots.

I bought this for work. I have an older MacBook pro that I use at home. I love the new version. The touch ID is really nice. The display is beautiful. The overall quality is great. The speed is really nice. My only complaints are the high price, but I expected that. Also the need for adapters for all newer MacBooks. I like that it's thin, but overall I'd prefer at least some main things to be built in. The adapters just add cost and if you forget them for meetings or when your travel then you're in a tough spot.

I’ve been a Mac customer for a couple of decades and still loving their products. Great product. Super Lightweight. Beautiful graphics. Lots of battery life. Frustrations: - I’ve had to reload my Touch ID 4 times now and I’ve only had it for 3 weeks. Super irritating. - doesn’t accept a traditional usb anymore so I had to buy a not-inexpensive converter for all of my accessories. - biggest thing I’m having to get used to is the keyboard. Like many many other purchasers of this product, I am having a hard time adjusting to the very tiny distance that a key depresses on the keyboard. Many times, I have “clicked” and didn’t realize it or thought I clicked it and it didn’t. Hopefully, I’ll get used to it after more use.

The MacBook Pro 15" is more than what I expected in every sense. It was more money that was I was initially expecting, but it delivers on so many more levels that what I was expecting. The graphics are fantastic, the speed of the computer is a lot faster than expected, the screen size is larger than what I was expecting (making it easier to multi-task/multi-screen), and it performs well above what I was expecting when I have a lot of windows up, editing videos and photos, surfing the web, and youtube watching. Powerful machine, upgradeable memory & graphics. I plan to having this MacBook Pro for a very long time! Only having the price drop a couple hundred would make this a 5 in value.

Everything out of the box works great and the display is awesome. Yet it is irritating that it only comes with (4) thunderbolt 3 connections. No USB, no card reader for your camera SD card and no way to connect RJ 45 for wired network. Seems to me this is Apples way of nickel and diming us to death with purchasing additional adapters. Also, when you do purchase an Apple mouse or keyboard, neither of those devices come with the correct thunderbolt 3 cord, they both come with a USB (that can't connect to the new macbook pros)? Why would you not include the proper cord in order to utilize the device properly, without having to buy an extra cord in order to charge them from the laptop. Engineering and marketing really messed this one up, unless it is actually their plan to force us to buy more Apple products.

I purchased this MacBook Pro 15in before the start of school so it was discounted, and waited until labor day weekend so it discounted even more. After purchasing I am in love with this computer. The graphics are amazing and the sound quality is incredible. It's so easy to log into since it has the touchbar with fingerprint capabilities and I don't have to worry about remembering my password. I usually have a lot of tab open at once and have Netflix playing in top of that and it still runs smoothly. I have had no problems. If your thinking about upgrading to a bigger screen just do it, it's worth the small upcharge.

Let's face it. Apple charges what they do because they make a solid product. Performance and aesthetics are top notch. Get past the connection issues. USB-C/Thunderbolt are faster, more stable connections. Charging is fast. Battery life is impressive. Display is sharp and clear. Overall build is solid, feels very durable. TouchBar takes some getting used to, but with programs I use everyday (GarageBand/Logic) it has become a useful tool. Keyboard is noticeably shallow but after some time it is actually quite comfortable and quiet.

I am in love with my new MacBook Pro. I had the mid 2011 model that had the first i7 and then it took a dump last year so I went back to Windows. I am so happy to have a MacBook Pro again, this is such a great laptop as far as display and speed. I almost went with the 13" but I am so happy I went with the 15.4, so far no regret. Only problem I have is that I can't play many games on it even though I have powerful CPU but there is always bootcamp to install Windows on here so happy face again.

I got this laptop to be able to handle adobe softwares (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and so far it's doing really well. The battery dies exceptionally fast, but that's to be expected when it's running high demanding softwares during its use. The display is incredible, and the Touch Bar is very convenient. One thing I have a problem with though is the USB-C ports on the side of the laptop. If I were to plug any of my electronics in (for example, a mouse or keyboard) I would have to get an adaptor, which I did, and that cost me 18 dollars. Other than that, the laptop is great, the display is great, the performance was great. It was worth the time and money!

I’ve had this laptop for almost 8months now and it has drastically changed how I work. The Touch Bar is phenomenal and saves SOOO much Time. The graphics are superb and have not had any issues with speed or battery life. Have actually been pleasantly surprised at the battery life considering this is a more work oriented laptop. I have left photoshop and multiple other apps open and battery has lasted over 48hrs before needing a charge.

I bought the MacBook Air in September, and it was my first MacBoook. I was instantly hooked on the system, and was so easy to adapt to from a PC. I was not a fan of the 13" and the processor was a little slow for my liking, so 4 months later I upgrades to the Pro 15.4" and I have NO regrets. Without a doubt the best laptop I have ever owned. Great screen size, speed, ease of use - absolutely recommend.

I've owned a 15" MacBook in one form or another for more than 10 years. This is one of the sleekest, fastest, lightest, and most powerful 15" MacBooks yet. The display is large enough to see everything and can even be used as a replacement for a desktop computer. The Touch Bar, while is not a substitute for a full on touch screen, does add a bit of functionality. BestBuy even had the best price.
