I’ve always wanted this MacBook & I finally got it! It’s beginner friendly & if there is something you don’t know how to do, you can just google it. The only complaint I have is that I spent all this money on it & it didn’t come with the extension cord like later models do. The extension cord isn’t too expensive, but it would’ve been nice to have come with the computer.

I have this MacBook for almost 7 weeks now, and I am very much happy with this machine, actually i would rather say i am in love with my macbook and been very much satisfied so far. I really liked that touch bar feature and the touch id, it makes my job easy. These two features are the major reason of buying this macbook. Worth single penny, do buy guys thanks!

Great machine, fast processor, great laptop for student and daily uses

Great purchase, easy to set up and use. Fast, great screen resolution.

I purchased for mobile video editing on FCP and it’s blazing fast for that. I haven’t noticed any major throttling issues with the various 4k and 8k video files I’ve thrown at it as well as multiple streams of animations and 3D rendering. I use this laptop with the Samsung USB-C T5 drives and it’s serving me well for my mobile editing solution.

I purchased this laptop three months ago and I’m so glad I did. Honestly I was very hesitant to buy a MacBook due to the high cost and never owning a Mac. Let me just say this is by far the best computer I have ever owned. It’s lightning fast and have had zero issues. I multi task a lot on this and run a major corporation from it.

As far as I'm concerned Macbooks only get better! The pushbar is a new feature for me and I love it! Can't say anything negative about this product. Macbooks are built to last and after 7 years I felt I deserved a new version. It does everything I need it to and I am thrilled with my purchase. I highly recommend this product!

I’ve had this laptop for over a year now and it has been running great. It was an upgrade from my last MacBook Pro that I had for 8 years. Only thing I wish is that I got something with a little more storage (I have TONS of pictures and videos I keep on my computer)but that’s ok. Always can add storage!

I am a novice on the MacBook. I just took a job that uses Macs, resulting in me taking on some time of my own to learn the Mac. So far I am very pleased with the outcome. It is easy to use and has a lot of common sense. Planning on taking the free lessons to make sure I know all the shortcuts this Mac will provide me.

I love my Mac, was an easy setup and transferring from my HP. Everything downloaded from the cloud from my iPhone and iPad so that was cool. This is my first Mac so the lack of USB ports is driving me up a wall especially for the price but that’s really the only downside I’ve noticed so far.

I work from home & a lot of my business is done on my iPhone. Having the option to airdrop and sync graphics & photos has made a huge difference in the time I was spending saving things and emailing. Editing video doesn’t compare to anything I’ve used before. I’m so incredibly happy with this laptop!

This is a basically good machine except for the keyboard. Some of the keys lack tactile feedback when you press them. In my particular case, the worst key is the shift key on the left side of the keyboard. That being said, this laptop is slightly lighter than the larger one that replaced it. If you don't travel with your computer, that won't be an issue. But it is for me. I don't need the larger screen and extra weight. I just wish that the keyboard was better.

I'll start out by clarifying that when I say mid-level, I mean that it isn't completely upgraded but it isn't the entry level 15 inch MacBook Pro. I had a Mid-2011 Retina MacBook Pro that was holding up for a while until one night my logic board decided to go out. I'm in school so I can't just wait for apple to fix my laptop and when I found out the price, I decided it was time for a new one. Usually I would go and customize my laptop to my perfect specs but I needed something that was already available and luckily, they make this one which was pretty close to the specs I was going to go with. The screen is amazing, the keyboard isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be but it did take some getting used to. The touch panel is a great addition especially since you can change what buttons are displayed. The only downfall to me is the amount of hard drive space, but that can easily be remedied with an external drive and they have some amazing deals on SSD external drives with USB C. All in all, its been a great laptop so far.
