MacBook Pro not worth the money any more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the MacBook Pro 256GB SSD I purchased and got a Dell XPS with 1TB SSD, 32GB of RAM and the #1 screen resolution in the industry. Cost and quality were a deciding factors. First, I saved $500 and didn't have to pay for an additional hyperdrive. Second, I was unsure about the quality. Rated year after year as a machine that will last, I am not sure that the recent decisions to soldered the SSD into the laptop and make the keyboard a single integrated piece was a wise decision. Repairing and replacing these parts will be costly and upgrading, from what I have read, is not an option because of the soldering. The quality just doesn't seem to be there.

I have had trouble downloading programs onto this Mac vs my older Mac. Overall I am enjoying the new features and speed.

Got this for my husband's work

It's fits right in his carry case and able to connect mostly anywhere. It's easy to operate with voice over instruments to assist you with setup of you computer and navigating through the files.
