Love the MacBook Pro! The sale man in bestbuy was too pushy though. I wish he didn’t have to decide for me too much. It should be me to decide if I wanna buy the product.

Nothing has really changed for Apple since Steve moved to a higher plane. These overpriced, non-up-gradable, no touch screen devices are still behind the times. This cost way too much money for what you get and the apple protection is ridiculous too

Love the new Mac book pro 15 inch laptop wonderful display light and I love the touchbar I’m using it more than I thought I would. It’s expensive but I like it.

I have always owned an apple computer and as soon as they announced this beast I was waiting out the door for it to be in stock. Great and powerful piece of hardware.

Best Buy was great. My laptops screen flickered 3 times in the 3rd week of purchase. I am an elite member and the manager simply exchanged it for a new one.

This is my 3rd Macbook Pro. I have a 15 late 2011, and a 13" from early 2015. Each one is better than the last. My 13" is actually quite nice, but as and older person (48), my eyes aren't as good as I would like, and the larger screen helps. No doubt, this is a very expensive laptop. I wish it was under 2k (or even if they were able to hit 2k I think it would be acceptable). So, in my opinion, this laptop is a bit overpriced (and yet, I still purchased it). Bottom line is, nobody makes laptops quite like Apple. So, my first thought is, if only Windows 10 wasn't so bad, I'd try my luck with a surface pro laptop. They are really nice devices, and I like that they are touch-screen, but, every time I try Windows, I just cant bring myself to go back. Microsoft makes some really nice hardware, but this Macbook Pro is several notches beyond the Microsoft offering as far as build quality is concerned. The Good =========== First, let me say, this keyboard is surprisingly awesome. I use a Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard with my iMac because it has an awesome feel to it - and while its expensive, I do a lot of typing (I am a coder), so having a keyboard that feels great is a must. I am used to the older Macbook Pro keyboards, which do not feel like this one. This one has a very nice click to it, and its very satisfying typing on it -- and like I said, its surprising. Upon looking at the keyboard, it looks disappointing -- not a lot of travel, but once you begin using it, its like wow - this is nice. However, I would recommend you go to the store and try it out first -- it is very different than any other laptop keyboard I have ever used, so you may decide its not for you. Next, the screen is just gorgeous. Its very crisp, vibrant, and it seems to have an anti-glare to it that my older devices did not have. As you use the laptop, it just feels premium like nothing else you have used. I quite like the oversized touchpad along the bottom - although I cant help but wonder if apple couldn't make more use out of this. How about letting it be used with apple pencil? Its just such a nice large surface, I wonder if apple has something up their sleeve. The touchbar along the top - well, i'd say its 'cool', and I see it has some utility in certain apps. For example, right now, I can change the brightness or volume using a slider on the bar. Its a nice touch, and a nice addition considering this device is so expensive, but i'd much rather have a touch screen. The touchbar also includes a fingerprint sensor like the phones and ipads - again, nice. Id like to see apple incorporate this into their desktop keyboards so that more software developers take advantage of it and make it more relevant. Right now, it feels like a 'nice to have' but not must-have. The speakers actually sound very good. This is rarely a deal breaker for me, but again, expensive device - so having the extra good sounding speakers is a plus. As far as RAM, Processor, and GPU - for my needs, the base 15" is quite capable. i7 quad core, 16GB ram (more than enough for me), and a dedicated GPU. 256 Solid State drive which is VERY fast in my usage. The Bad =========== Based on the price, I feel like apple could have improved in the following ways 1. Touchscreen. I mean come on - cheap Windows laptops have touch screens now. This is a major omission in my opinion. Even if MacOS isn't touch optimized, what about people running Windows Boot Camp and/or VMs? I think Apple is missing the boat here 2. Slots. I am cool with the USB-c slots, but I think a MicroSD slot would have still fit the thin profile, and enabled me to upgrade the on-board storage without having stuff hanging out. 3. Less in the box. My old Macbooks had 2 plugs (one that slid on the power brick, and another that extended it about 6 or 8 ft). That extender cable is no longer in the box. Also, it would have been nice if they included a USB-C to USB (and some other ports) in the box to start with. 4. MagSafe is gone! I cant tell you how devastating this is to me - it was one of my favorite things. I see there is a 3rd party MagSafe adaptor you can buy, but I am disappointed Apple didn't have one in the box. Overall ============ If you are looking at this laptop, you already know its expensive,. However, its a really nice laptop, and unless you are someone that needs more than 16GB Ram (not most of us), this is a solid device likely to last and be viable for 4 to 5 years easily.

Very powerful and sleek Mac. I really like having the Mac OS and Windows both loaded through boot camp. Not cheap but worth the money if it is in your price range.

Worked on an iPad for awhile, so going back to the new version of a lap top is a little getting use to. I like it. I'm an Apple fan. I trust their products.

I've been VERY happy with my MacBook Pro. I would recommend to anyone who's tired of giving money to the PC World.

It’s been a great experience so far-I haven’t had a laptop in years and before this I had dell and HP, which didn’t last as long and required antivirus.

I bought this Mac Book Pro last year and I love it. I’m using for music recording and have nothing but positive things to say about it.

The switch from windows to apple somewhat thought to grasp gold of but worth it. Apple is so much more efficient. Wishing I had switched earlier.

Having a MacBook is just like having an iPhone but better. You can get so much done on it and I love the fact that my calls go through my MacBook.

I never saw him so happy with this laptop. He had an older model and the features on this were just what he needed. We had a very good sales lady.

I will not get technical with the specs. There is plenty of other reviews that will bore you. Great over all. Only downside is the fans don’t kick in fast enough. Can get warm when editing video. I don’t mind the USB c ports. They r way faster so yes they r worth it to me.
