Intel Core i7 and Solid state drive make for a fast computer. The retina display is beautiful and the biometrics is awesome! No more typing in a password for apple store purchases, installation and logging in.. You only need to enter in your pw the first time. The color touch bar is great too. All around a solid laptop that should last me for years.

TouchBar is extremely useful! Mac runs very quick without any issues! Use it every single day.

I've had the 15" MacBook Pro for a week now, and so far its been great. Keyboard took some time to get used to, but now I am back to my normal typing. Speed is great, and while the touchbar does seem gimmicky, I do like it for some uses, mainly when making and receiving calls on the laptop. I don't game too much, but playing Civ 4 and 5 are no problem. Siri is actually useful to my surprise. My one negative is the only ports on it are USB-c. That may be the future, but I still need good old regular usb for a little longer. Apple could have placed at least one adapter in the box at the prices they are charging.

I replace my computer every 5 year. When I do, I usually go for the best model out there and this does not disappoint. It is a very fast and powerful computer. The display is stunning. I love the larger touch pad. I opted for the 256 GB drive thinking that that is quite a lot of storage and I can save some money there. Highly recommended.

Never used Apple lab top before. Always afraid to leave my pc/windows laptop-product that I am familiar with. After this first experience, I no longer surprise why people like Apple products. Easy to use, no gimmicks to download, much better WiFi connection, does not slow down while browsing with many open web pages, awesome battery-last forever. I am using it for daily-reading news, shopping, banking, paying bills and emailing-reviewing/recording. It is more than enough for me as a daily user.

Got this for my 78 year old mother in law to replace a really old dell laptop. She had been using an ipad for awhile and liked it but wanted a computer. I use windows pc but she wanted an apple. This has been great for her and me as so far she has only called me once for help and she loves it. Would recommend this for anyone that likes apple products or has not used one before. The price is a little steep for my liking as I bought and alienware laptop, but a god send for my mother in law

Wow, am I impressed... I have been a loyal Dell customer since my first computer 18 years ago, but was convinced to try a MacBook after asking friends on Facebook for their recommendations. Nine out of ten recommended a Mac computer, so I decided to make the change. And am I ever glad I did. The transition has been quite easy with the help of YouTube tutorials. I bought the MacBook Pro with the touchbar. (I haven’t utilized the touchbar much as of yet but it is a cool feature.) I love everything about this computer; I t’s speed, it’s ease of usability, the apps included and those available to download. I love the backlit keyboard. It makes it nice to type in bed at night without waking my husband. The track pad is great too. I do have to disagree with the description used as “feather light”. The 15” is not featherlight. It’s not extremely heavy but featherlight it is not. I’ve owned my MacBook Pro for about 4 weeks now so it is all still new to me, but I do not expect my experience to do anything except get better.

Great computer, great customer service. I went into the store to pick out a laptop after researching a ton online, i still wasn't exactly sure which one I was 100% sold on. The Best Buy employee that was helping me knew everything about every model I had asked about and after I told him what I was looking to do with it (photography, editing, etc) he suggested the Mac Pro 15". He made sure and price matched if there were any other competitive prices out there and assured that it was the best fit. I was sold. The only thing I wasn't sold about was the fact that the store only had inventory of the dark grey and the only way to get the light grey was to purchase online - I was hesitant but I purchased and picked it up from FedEx about 5 business days later. I've loved every minute I've had with it since though, so user freindly, fast, resolution is great, love and actually use the touch bar (it's perfect for music players to easily adjust volume and song choice), keyboard is great , camera is great. All-in-all just what I was looking for

This laptop works great. In perfect shape when I unboxed. Multitasks with ease and all the programs work fast.

I bought this to replace my iMac. It does everything I need it to do. I love the 4 thunderbolt ports. I realize I need to get a few small adaptors. It you don’t need a bunch of dongles. I have a thunderbolt 3 dock from henge docks that is fantastic. The touchbar is great. The huge trackpad is the best on any laptop and with the large size you never hit the sides. I have no issues with the palm rejection it works great. I highly recommend this!

Decided to go the laptop route to replace my 10yr old Mac since I couldn't get newer IOS upgrades anymore. I have it hooked up to a 32" Samsung monitor and it's just amazing. I never realized how slow my Mac actually was until now, plus it has more memory than my Mac!! The screen is sharp & crisp w/ vibrant colors. It's loaded with so many features that I had to get familiar with, & love the finger recognition, just like my phone. Having it hooked up to the monitor gives the feel of a desktop but now I have the option of portability, just unplug & pack it up to go. This may have a little more features than I needed but since I don't upgrade much I think I'll be set for awhile and hopefully will get as good use with this as I did with my Mac. So glad I decided to get this, highly recommend getting one, you won't regret it even though a little pricey, well worth the investment, especially if I get 10 yrs out of it like my Mac.

It is an amazing laptop if you need it for design work, etc. Overkill for most people and overpriced compared to windows, but it is a great laptop regardless.
