Good computer. Has four Type C USB ports since the touch bar replaces that top row with all the F buttons, so there's more space underneath the keys for ports. I'm not a fan of the touch bar, however. I've found it more annoying than useful so far.

I have had other MacBook pro’s but this one was unimpressive. The space bar stopped working on multiple occasions with no solution as to why- other than it happens frequently. The keyboard was also incredibly frustrating as I felt the ergonomics were awful & it took me forever to type emails & papers. I often did them at my work desk top for this reason- not ideal for a laptop I spend $2,400 for. I recently sold mine after 2 years & opted for the iPad 12.9in pro with the Logitech keyboard instead and I loveee it!

Being a long time Windows user, I was hesitant on switching operating systems. Windows has come a long way over the past several years, yet, I have always been curious at trying MacOS. So far this device has exceeded my expectations with its build quality and performance. Learning MacOS has been surprisingly easy and I have not found myself missing the Windows platform. The enormous trackpad is great with gestures and has made navigating the system a breeze. Having a large display was something I missed from some of my older laptops as the shift has been geared towards lightweight and portable. This laptop weighs around 4 pounds which keeps it very portable and gives a lot of real estate when multitasking. Sound quality from the built in speakers was a welcomed surprise and won't disappoint. For those wondering about the TouchBar; it works well and although not a necessity, is nice to have. I feel that it will take a little getting used to in order to unlock its full potential. Since this is a rather large investment, I do recommend purchasing AppleCare, which now includes accidental damage in addition to a case or skin if you want to keep it in pristine condition. In short, I don't feel that you will be disappointed with this machine as I can now see what previous Mac/Apple users have been talking about for years.

The laptop does not work with accounting software we needed for our small business. We purchased a HP Spectre X 360 and love it. The keys, mouse pad feel better than the Apple laptop.

its basically what you would expect from a macbook pro.. i will say that i miss my 13"... there's a lot of wasted real estate on the 15" and its not very portable.

I purchased the MacBook Pro along with the Magic Mouse 2, for starters the reaction or even the sensitivity of the mouse to the Mac is slow and delayed and even inaccurate. Waste of $70 on a mouse. Aside from the mouse the laptop actually wasn’t bad for the first week, I came across a notification that stated I needed to update my MacBook, I processed this update and the system restarted once finished. After trying to startup my MacBook the first time since he update, the apple logo no longer appeared instead a circle with a slash through it appeared. I researched online how to fix this problem and none of the videos work I contacted geek squad regarding my problem and they didn’t even want to hear me out they directed me to call apple because they don’t handle these problems. I was more so looking for information on what had occured or what I should do to maybe troubleshoot or something. The quality of this product is about a 2 star, and the service of the employee would get a 0 if I had to rate. Short, careless and disruptive. In one month My wife and I spent about $10,000 for some well needed appliances because a friend recommended them, Will not be spending anymore money here, I will be taking my service back to MicroCenter.

I do like this MacBook Pro but think it’s over priced. I also am concerned with possible keyboard issues.

Apple care wasn't real apple care, the shift key came broken, they charged me for a data transfer, and no student discount. Was very upset when I found out after purchase I could have gotten the exact same thing at apple for $400 less and a free pair of wireless beats. Will never buy from here again!!!

The keyboard on this Pro model is difficult to manage, jumps from one entry to another area without action, much more difficult to accomplish desired work than on Air, usb requires extra equipment to use. Sorry I bought this one.

this unit is slow... slower than 2016 mac pro with ssd.

I wanted to be connected between an iphone, a notebook, & a piece of equipment that talked to each other & preformed in a non teenie bobber mode. Sorry, this over priced mac book pro is nothing but a 'BUY THIS' item. This is the worst thing I ever purchased. The internet access is the worst compared to Google.
