The brand new MacBook Pro is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It is fast and intuitive and a real joy to navigate. I feel better organized and love its overall look and usability. The ports are Thunderbolt 3 ports and do require an adapter. Though I haven't transferred my iPhotos and iTunes from a previous MacBook Pro yet, I'm confident that's happening soon :)

You can't really go wrong with the Macbook Pro for non-gaming activity. Very thin and durable, don't really need a case for it. Screen size is at an optimal balance for weight and utility. Battery life is good but it all depends on the type of application you're running. I do get a little more than 10 hours for web browsing and email but just maybe 2 hours for Final Cut Pro activities but that is that be expected when running on battery for any laptop. However, price is high and I got a good deal of $450 off with student discount so it made it worth it for me. However, I would not pay at the current retail price.

This is my first Apple laptop - we purchased it to replace our aging iMac desktop. It's slim, lightweight, easy to configure and we are completely satisfied with this purchase. The reviews we read were positive and it has lived up to all the hype. Our son tried a different brand for college (to save $$) and has had to replace it - with a MacBook.

It has a large screen, is light weight and fast. I love it.

I have NEVER owned anything but Windows products as far as computers are concerned; however, I do love my iPhone and Apple Watch. I decided to venture out and try out the Mac book. BEST DECISION EVER! I love the touch bar, the size of the screen, and the interchange between my computer, watch, and phone.

I bought this for my wife. She loves the touchbar feature. It's very fast with a beautiful retina screen. No standard USB ports. Only the USB type-C. A simple adapter hub took care of that though.

The 2017 15" MacBook Pro is deserving of the name "Pro," but as always Apple overprices these compared to the competition. Nevertheless, it works perfect right of the box, integrates well with other Apple devices., and the Kaby Lake processors and the improved graphics make this a five-star machine.

The new Apple MacBook Pro with touch bar is one of the best computers I ever owned. Cost a little more but well worth the price when you see the graphics and speed of the processor. Why buy anything else when you can own a MAC

It doesn’t get much better than this. It loads super fast and works as designed. The slide bar is actually becoming more useful than I originally thought it would be. My only issues with the computer are actually just iOS issues but they are always updating those and improving. I did rate a 4 star because I do believe it’s almost there completely but in all honesty it is the best laptop I have ever owned.

My main use for this labtop is to use logic pro x. I'll have to say, that it is truly amazing. The touch bar shortcuts are awesome, turning your labtop into an MIDI controller of it's own. The speakers sounds great too, they get very loud. Sleek design and it looks great on my desk. I had bought a macbook (non pro) in 2010 and I desperately needed an upgrade. This macbook pro will last longer than my old mac, with having 4 times the performance. You cannot go wrong! If you produce music then I'd recommend the touch bar. At first I was like, "oh well I don't really need it." But I am so glad I got the touch bar. Treat yo' self!

I've had this Laptop for about 3 months now and it blows every other Microsoft run laptop I've had-Dell, Sony VIAO, HP, etc-out of the water. For anyone who believes they are just too pricey and that you're just "paying for the brand," my suggestion is to think long and hard about the figures as a new Microsoft based laptop can cost you like 400-600 dollars at it's cheapest and that's not including the Antivirus you're gonna have to but and subscribe to which is not a problem with Apple laptops, just to have an inexpensive computer by comparison that's probably gonna last you 3-4 years at best so you take those 4 years-and not at peak optimal performance by the end mind you-and get yourself another one, and another one you're gonna wind up spending the same or more on 2-3 laptops over the same life span that an Apple laptop has if you would've bough it in one shot! Furthermore, it is EXTREMELY simple to use and you can go to your local Apple store or within the computer find the user friendly, non boring. engaging and interactive tutorials for every program it comes with and that you will buy if you choose to. Believe me when I say I'm nowhere middle class financially, but Best Buy makes it so easy to finance one, example given, mine as not only did they price match a website I use where out the door, I wound up paying the same thing it cost at all stores with without the taxes and could easily afford the extended 3 year apple care as a result so I have 24 months the entire coast off @ 0%.

I wasn’t sure if I would like the touch bar but it is really convenient. 15 is a great size and not heavy. Powerful and fast. What else does the average person need?

I finally got tired of replacing my PC laptop every three years, and switched to Apple. Wish I’d switched 10 years ago. This MacBook is ridiculously fast and as intuitive as the iPhone and iPad. Only issue is many apps I have on my iPad are not available for the MacBook.

Excellent performance for a first time Mac owner! I wasn't sure which model to get, but decided to get the 15 inch. It had everything I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier. Make sure you get as much computer as you want, even if it means paying a bit more.

Another stellar laptop by Apple. I have always owned a 15” Macbook Pro for processor speed and graphics. The 15’s carry an i7 quad core, while the 13’s have an i5 dual core. As a designer and iOS developer I need that power for processing and running simulators. The touch bar is growing on me, but its biggest asset is the fact that I can use the Touch Id for using my 1Password manager. Now I never have to type in a very long password or the plethora of websites I purchase or bank with. If you are in the area of photography, design, video, digital creation, etc. then this laptop is a no-brainer.

Very fast computer. If you’re a graphic designer, or you overall work with videos and pictures this is a great buy. Yes , to the average person it can be a little pricey, however you will not need another computer anytime soon. Definitely worth the expense.

This has been a great addition to my Apple products collection. It was very easy to set up, it linked up with my iMac and transferred info over very easily. Good battery life. Enjoying the touch bar! Love the fingerprint touch to unlock the computer too

I decided to go with the (almost) fully loaded 15ich. Why? Because I am an Apple freak. The bar is not needed, nor do I use it for anything. I use office, logic, pro tools, and photoshop. It’s not needed. But, I couldn’t get the specs I wanted without it. So, it’s a trade off. You can build a bare bones 15inch on Apple with everything you want, but it will be more expense. Aside from that, everything is phenomenal and quite an upgrade from my MacBook Air and Retna display. Only drop the extra cash on this if you have it. No one needs this.

Perfect size screen the colors are nice and brite the laptop is very light to carry. It is very fast to. It also has a touch bar that is really nice to use.
