This new MacBook Pro is certainly hit the marks with good speed and it’s very efficient in terms of battery life.

2019 MBP base model comes with a slightly better CPU, clocked at 2.6 GHz base speed. I've seen 4.1 GHz all core boost (until thermals limit it). The thermal management algorithm seems to be slightly improved over the 2018 model and the "improved" butterfly keyboard feels slightly softer to the touch while still providing the satisfactory click when pressing the keys. Overall, a slightly improved version over the 2018 model (not by a lot).

I upgraded from a 2014 macbook pro (died too young from a flooded apartment) and decided to get this upgraded mac pro. It has been ~2.5 years and everything is still running powerfully and smoothly. I am a heavy user of Adobe Creative Cloud and other media editing softwares and I still haven't once yelled at this computer for crashing my programs (knock on wood)

So I only use Apple products and this is by far the nicest macbook out there. Pricey, yes. But well worth it

I bought this Mac Book for my daughter on her first day in university. She loved it very much, she told me " Mom thank you for buy me the most expensive lap top, it is help me to get my homework done quickly and everyone in my class had the same one so I don't feel left out". Now she used it for work too. It has all the data and functions that are so updated.

This was a phenomenal purchase. Plenty of speed for demanding tasks and lightning quick startup. I have both an iPhone and iPad Pro and this MacBook synced with all my data in the cloud seamlessly and I can transfer from one device to another with ease. The screen is gorgeous and is a pleasure to work on. If you are on the fence, buy it!

Actually this is our first Apple computer. My wife has had I-phones for years, though i'm with my Galaxy. Anyway, we've always had windows computers but the last one, an HP, cured us of ever going down that route ever again. (plus I've been using Apples for producing Worship at church.) Anyway. So far so Great. We ARE NOT power users. Web, some publishing, light video and picture editing, but for us it's exceeded our expectations.

This is a replacement for my wife's old 15" MacBook Pro. More compact and she likesthe touch bar.

I've owned Apple products since the 1980's. My first Apple computer was an Apple III. From there I've owned an Apple Classic, IIe, a Lisa, and a bunch of laptops. I understand technology changes rapidly and it's important for Apple to continue to be innovative and out in front of the pack. But, I don't appreciate abandonment. Apple also makes products that are NOT serviceable by third parties and their repair center leave a lot to be desire. Apple also tends to introduce new products that are not compatible with older peripherals and forces loyal customers to have to buy new cables, adapters, and more stuff. As for the MacBook Pro, it's working as expected and over-all I'm happy with it. I just hope it last as long as my last MacBook did; at least 5 years.
