I recently upgraded from my MacBook Pro 2015. I love my new MacBook. The touch bar is great. The graphic card is great for 4K video.

Easy to learn and use. Light weight. Battery life is excellent.

The features on the MacBook Pro are absolutely amazing. The performance is so far superior from anything I have used. If anyone asked me if they should buy one, my answer would be ... ABSOLUTELY! There are way too many improvements to try to go over them ... if you are looking to get a computer, you should check these out. You will not regret it. R

It's a Macbook Pro. If you like Apple/Macbooks, you should like this. However, the new Macbook Pro's do not have USB ports, SD card readers, or CD/DVD drives. So you have to buy adapters and whatever other hardware you want. My old Macbook Pro had everything built in but it was time for an upgrade. I like this Macbook Pro and I can live with using adapters. It would have been nice/more convenient to have the USB ports built in though. I still have a need to burn DVD's for out of town family, so I guess an external drive will be another purchase.

Upgraded from a MBP13-2009 and was pleasantly surprised. Never had a single issue, no virus protection required but I've seen articles where they recommend using it if you decide to explore the "dark net". All programs and apps work flawlessly. This will probably be my last laptop unless Apple can come out with something spectacular......

Computer is easy to use. Compact. But a little on the pricey side

I've been needing to put my old Mac Book Pro, circa 2013, in the shop to get a new battery, for a long time, but just kept putting it off because I didn't want to be without a laptop for even a week's time. So I planned to buy a little cheap-o laptop that I could use in the interim, that would be compatible with Windows-based apps, etc. But which one? My husband has a couple of those low-budget laptops and he's always having problems with them. Well...this model came up on sale at $500 off the price of what it normally sells for at the Apple Store, which is not "cheap-o" but I thought, a decent deal. And I could pick it up that afternoon at the local Best Buy. Once ordered on the web site, they notified me when it was ready to pick up, a couple of hours later, and it took me about 2 minutes to walk into the store and pick it up, with no shipping and handling costs. The new Mac Book Pro has some significant new features, so I've had to go through a learning curve with the touch bar and reconfiguring the notifications and finger swipes. But transferring the data from the old to the new was a breeze, and I can appreciate that my watch logs me right in.
