It is based on linux kernel which is very developer friendly. If you are a Machine Learning developer, Macbook pro hadles all your heavy tasks very efficiently. But it does not have Nvidia graphics, so sometimes that can be a irksome.

Perfect for schoolwork and all things college with entertainment value in between classes! My daughter loves it and it’s the perfect size to capture workload and stay organized on!

I love this computer. Fast. Easy to use. Great screen clarity, resolution and brightness. Good sound. Fantastic operating system. In retrospect, I think that I would have preferred the smaller screen version for better portability.

It took me awhile to get used to using the Mac compared to windows but once you get the hang of it you won’t regret. Phenomenal screen. Just be sure to invest in the extras that you’ll need as not much is included besides a charger.

Have family that own older Mac Book Pro. They are so easy to use. The newer ones are even better. More features to make things easier. Touch bar and Touch ID are just a few. Best upgrade on a new laptop. Would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a replacement from my wife’s aging MacBook Pro. She does a lot of photo editing and the old computer didn’t have the horse power to keep up with her newer software. This baby does the trick. Is a good value for the price

I am a DJ, and of course this MacBook stands up to everything I throw at it! Upgraded from a late 2012 MacBook, and couldn’t be any happier! The touchbar is amazing, and so it the touchpad. Definitely recommend to any working professionals!

I have owned many MacBooks and iMacs in my lifetime and this one takes the Cake. The 6 core CPU is blazing fast. The lack of USB 2 ports is a hassle but eventually peripherals will adapt. If you're looking for a new Mac,. You found it!

I finally made the switch to an apple computer after using a regular PC for years. I love it! It took a bit to set up and set all the passwords, but I am happy with how it works and how it syncs to my phone and ipad

Great laptop specially if you are productive editing videos, using relatively heavy softwares. Having a dedicated GPU is definitely a plus. The only downside is that it gets hot so fast specially during the summer.

I bought this computer for my Harding to college and he wanted to write music. He loves it and he states it does well all he wants to do from school work, music and zooms and power presentations.

I am surprised by how fast this machine is, the first time I buy Mac, tired of the poor quality of Windows laptop, in the last 3 years I have changed about 9 laptop being the costly of more than $ 15.00 On average, the operating system is quite friendly, I just have a month with it and I have no complaint. It is the adaptation to a new OS. After so many years using iPone I feel it is much simpler.

As a student who does a lot of video editing, this laptop is great because the screen size and resolution is wonderful. In addition, the speakers provide great sound and the large trackpad makes the editing process smoother.
