Keyboard loses functionality because of the new butterfly keys versus the scissor style key functionality that has been used in all of the previous models. Not good for gaming.

It's a confusing computer for a beginner with not knowing what applications to put on and where to write papers that edit and connecting all its abilities to your everyday work day

Bought this computer super excited to use it and I do and have used it a handful of times but since the beginning I’ve had problems with it. As soon as I took it out of the box within two days the screen went black. I returned to Best Buy to get it replaced and they gave me the run around until it was to late to get my money back. Had to take it to Apple and they ended up “fixing” it but that was complete garbage as well. They had to replaced three things when I had It less than just one month with the computer. Keep in mind I didn’t even use it since I had gotten it. After I picked it up from the Apple store it presented some of the same problems but on some rare occasions. Now on one side of the speakers it sounds so bad and at this point I’m just over it. Luckily I did purchase the extended warranty with Apple but regardless if the computer from coming out of the box present issues considering it’s a 2600+ computer bestbuy should have replaced it. Other than thAt the computers aesthetic is nice and also it’s layout is easy to navigate. Keep in mind this computer does not have the light up Apple logo. Not that it is a deal breaker but that light up logo was a golden staple for the computer.

Bootup on Mac OS is slower then my 5 yr old Mac Bookpro 15". I'm getting the keyboard replaced since the f key is stuck.

For the price it not enough memory and no programs. Everything has to be bought separate

English is not my first language so excuse any grammar mistakes. I have purchased this item online and got it delivered to a friend of mine. The laptop was kept in the box until last week when my friend arrived to the Middle East, where I live. The first look at the laptop, it looked fresh and untouched, but when I start running it, I realised that internal speakers are not running well. When I play any sort of music or movie or any audio file. The sound will be perfect, few seconds later, the left speaker will stop working perfectly and the right speaker will start making noise, as if the treble is covered and only the bass working.

If you want to purchase this computer, I highly recommend purchase the applecare warranty. You will need it.

I heard a lot about MacBooks but I really had terrible experience; I bought first one and returned with within few months as it had a heating problem; I thank BestBuy for helping me with the replacement. My second one started giving me a screen issue within a year for with I had to pay around $900 to Apple to fix it.

So far it’s working well. Apple hardware seems to be good, integration with Microsoft software has problems

I do not like the new Mac book pros. Mine has been doing nothing but giving me trouble.

Not good if you work with word and Excel. You have to pay for the additional programs

Overall I’m disappointed in the lack of quality. Apple used to be the best. The first laptop I purchased has multiple scratches in a sealed box and crashed within the first 30 days. I exchanged it for a new one and still had issues. Thank goodness I purchased AppleCare.

They told me i could upgrade hard drive and i cant

The Touch ID stopped working after about a month and I hadn’t to send it in and it took a while to get back and they had to change something about them logic board for some reason, so not as durable as expected at first.

I love apple and have been using mac for five years now. this was my 2nd mac and I frequently find issues with it and have received minimal help from apple :/
