I bought the laptop as a backup for my apple account in my iphone because i have a lot of documents but now laptop is my primary tech device to be used.I enjoy watching videos editing photos and completing my work training on it almost every day.It is really durable in the hours of operation too so you don't have to worry about charging it after every use.

This computer has software built into it such as garage band. This software is fun to play with and figure out how to work it. The Touch Bar is pretty cool but if you do t understand how it works you probably won’t use it. The Touch ID is great as well. It gets my fingerprint the first time, every time. The display is amazing as well. Very clear.

I’m a part time photographer and use my laptop for editing photos. The resolution is phenomenal and there are so many features I feel like I’ll never even skim the surface. It keeps passwords with the touch of a finger and makes bill pay so much easier! Quick charge and great battery life. Super fast processing and massive storage. LOVE IT.

This product is amazing. So fast but overheats a bit when I work with many photos and Lightroom when photoshopping. Otherwise very large and easy to use. I love it.

This is truly the Mercedes-Benz of laptops! Anything I have thrown at it, it has performed with zero problems. Are use it for Autodesk fusion 360, Adobe creative cloud suite: Specifically Adobe Premier Pro for 4K video editing. The only reason why it is four stars versus five stars, is because of the lack of ports. There is a workaround. I bought a dongle that allows for HDMI out, 2 thunderbolt ports, and 2 USB 3.0 ports. As well as an SD card reader. Battery life has been excellent, the touch pad is incredibly large, the audio is superb, and the display is absolutely stunning!

Not much can be said that you likely don’t already know, but this thing is powerful. I’ll just mention the one thing that stands out positively and the one that stands out negatively. Positively, I really like the addition of the touch bar. I love how the function options change based on the application you are using. Very cool and handy feature. Plus, it just looks gorgeous. Can’t complain about that. On the negative, I really don’t like the keys on the keyboard. I prefer keys that are more raised and give you a more tangible tactile experience when typing. I have some difficulty with this keyboard as the keys are extremely shallow and difficult for me to discern when I’ve fully “clicked” a key. In any event, I’ll eventually get used to it and the rest of the MacBook is such a positive experience that it makes my keyboard preference issue not such a big deal.

I needed a new laptop and decided to go with Apple MacBook Pro. I have always been a Microsoft user, but all my other electronics were Apple. Phone, watch, IPad...while there is a bit of a learning curve to identify some icons, overall the adjustment has been fairly easy. Great display and battery life, too.

I had a 2012 MacBook Pro before this, and it still works great, but certain updates have made some of my applications incompatible with the computer. I bought this model, and it has been awesome so far! It’s much lighter, the Touch Bar is very convenient, and it’s great for Adobe Creative Suite users.

Works great. Had to buy a usb-c hub (Satechi) so I could use older hardware. Was pleasantly surprised to see how fast files transferred. Spotlight search is great (cmd+space). The main programs I use (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Xcode) all work great. I thought I’d have trouble adjusting to the Touch Bar and the keyboard shortcuts but it was a fairly easy transition. In fact, I actually enjoy using the Touch Bar (mostly for invoking Siri). TouchID is a godsend, especially when I’m purchasing stuff online. It syncs up with my phone so everything feels super seamless. The hardest thing for me to get used to was definitely the touchpad, but once I enabled tap-to-click, it was a lot easier to use. Occasionally, I still accidentally invoke force touch, but I think I’ll get used to it sooner or later. I find myself using the gestures quite a lot. All in all, it was a great buy and I really like how well it syncs up with all my other devices (Handoff and iCloud help a lot with that).

No complaints whatsoever. Maybe the price. But everything about this machine is great. This is my desktop: have it hooked up to an old iMac on Target Display Mode and to another 27 inch monitor. So have a three monitor setup. Pretty cool. I highly recommend buying a USB-C hub to go along with it.

Migrated to Mac after several failures of windows laptops. It is taking awhile getting used to file locations, shortcuts and Mac stuff. I’m very satisfied with the hardware. Fast, light, long battery life. And it’s an Apple, so it just works

I just upgraded to this new Mac book pro 3 months ago and don't regret it at all. Being a prosumer photographer and a ms office user this was my best choice. I can open edit raw files in a minute. My 5 year old Mac Pro was struggling. My only complaint for such sleek design is the lack of SD card, hdmi, standered USB 3 ports. So now I have this sleek machine with a $60.00 dongle hanging out of it......Really?

This laptop works great but if I feel battery life sort of sucks. If I leave it on but closed and put away for a few days, the battery last a long time. When I’m using it on a full battery, it last about 3 hours and I’m usually just using pages. It does charge quickly though so thats nice. Another thing, for some reason they decided to change to a usb-c. So if you need to use a traditional usb, you will need to buy an additional plug for that. Would have been nice to know before i left the store

It's a great laptop, it does what it's supposed to do, when it's supposed to do it. Thought I'd be annoyed by having to buy all new adapters and peripherals, but who knew?!? I've apparently gotten used to it. Still has a headphone jack, so that's a bonus.

Obsessed with my new laptop— the Touch Bar is totally worth it because it provides shortcuts and easier access when creating/browsing. I am a filmmaker so features like this make it easier for my creativity and work load!

This laptop is very user friendly and well-designed. The sleek and light-weight design makes it aesthetically pleasing and easy to carry around. The touch bar at the top is very convenient for users. I would highly recommend this laptop as an investment for work or college.

I love my MacBook Pro. I left a 2011 and didn't want to part ways but it's GPU crashed and it was time to admit it's life cycle was over. Up until then I would have said my old Mac was the best especially with the connectivity present. Today I have the 2018 with power dock and I can say that this makes my old computer look and feel like a Dinosaur! I love this computer and I don't have a regret in the world. I would recommend to anyone. I use to run an online store as well as create music and the computer is yet to have a hiccup. It was designed to perform and the Touch Bar is more useful then you know till you have one. Apple does it again. Giving us a product we didn't know we need till it's in our hand. I LOVE this version of the pro. The Touch Bar and the finger print ID had already spoiled me so much. The extra large track pad is great for design and other creative work. The quality/display is unmatched. I am more than satisfied with my purchase! 100% worth the money!!

I have had MacBook pros since the early 2000's .. This model is by far my favorite. the Touch Bar is awesome, the Retina display is superb, the screen size is perfect, the XL track pad is amazing and the processor, OS and basic software is what you expect from apple.
