Despite the “hands on the keyboard” only power users who love keyboard shortcuts and despise the mouse, I still think that the point and click inputs, be it the mouse, trackpad, or touch bar, are innovative and useful and require less to memorize compared to the shortcut key combinations.

This latest Apple product is superior to Macs I have used in the past. The Intel processor allows me to utilize programs more efficiently than in previous units. The SSD drive is great with faster access to data on my drive. And assed bonus is my grandkids love playing games on it.

I was contemplating between MacBook Pro and other laptops because of my engineering programs. However, I settled for MacBook Pro 2018 because of some personal reasons. Though I had to use boot camp to run windows since most engineering programs are windows based, I couldn’t be more happier.

Even considering the price tag, I have no regrets about my purchase. At first, I wasn't a fan of the keyboard. After using it for about half a day however, I fell in love with it. The display is beautiful, and the Apple ecosystem benefits with my iPhone are just so convenient.

I love my MacBook Pro, but don't like that all the ports are USB-C/3. It requires that you additionally purchase connectors to use existing hardware (external HD drives, external monitor, etc). I also have many cds with backups of my photos and had to buy an external cd drive. I live the touch bar, but not excited about the butterfly keyboard. Apple is always ahead of the crowd, but sometimes forgets that you often need a path to the past. Delivery was excellent. Setup was easy.

The Mac functions beautifully, and I appreciate the improved graphics and acoustics. I do a lot of editing work and appreciate how clear/easy to read the screen is. Also the initial setup was quick and easy.

I purchased a Windows computer over a year ago to replace my MacBook Air. I just needed more room and power and didn't want to spend the $$ on anew MacBook Pro. After struggling with a Windows computer for a year, I decided that I had had enough and went to BestBuy and purchased a new MacBook Pro. Working with a Mac again was like putting on your favorite relaxing sweat pants... very comfortable and familiar. Even though I was able to move around the Windows environment in an "OK" manner after a couple of months, NOTHING compares to a Mac experience. It is so intuitive and easy. Yes a Mac does have its quirks, (expensive, upgrades limited) but the Mac OS is so much easier to navigate than the Windows world. Also, if you are invested in the Apple Universe, with a little patients, all of your Apple devices can connect together which helps organize your life. If you need a computer that is dependable and JUST WORKS, I would recommend a Mac.

I was a little bummed that it doesn't have an SD card reader but that's okay, I'll get an adapter. I love the thin sleek design and the finger print identification, that's Awesome! This just what I needed to edit and create graphics... everything is better with a MAC

This is a great laptop, very easy to use and the connective is amazing, Siri is awesome when completing task the battery stays charged and it is ultra fast on the internet I just hope that it last for years to come

The new MacBook Pro is fast to start up, has efficient easy navigation with the new touchpad, and has been very reliable. The new MacBook Pro has the Touch Bar which I seldom use. My only negative about the new unit is the lack of alternative port options.

I have been using this beauty for 2 years now. This computer is very thin and incredibly fast. Running photoshop, video rendering apps together I never had a problem. I hope APPLE is continuing this great product.

I've been an Apple computer user since the early mid nineties and I've never been disappointed. This model is no different, and purchasing at Best Buy, I know I've got the added bonus of knowledgeable and customer focused expertise. It's a win, win in my book.

The 2018 MacBook Pro 15 inch is more than enough to support my daily needs. The speed is superb and it integrates well with other Apple devices. The keyboard is the only caveat of the device. The shallow keys aren't favorable to most types and it also has reliability issues. The butterfly keyboard on my Mac has been replaced once already. While it was free of charge, it was inconvenient going a few days without the laptop.

I upgraded from HP to the Mac Pro and I loved it. The speed, clarity of the screen, and other features that I am learning every time I used it. I probably have to spent more times to get the full use out of it. Overall, I am very pleased with this Mac Pro.

I needed a laptop for school and I'm glad I decided to purchase this one. As a design student I use photoshop and illustrator a lot. Classmates with different types of laptops ran into problems that I never have had to deal with while using my macbook pro.

Powerful, quiet, light weight - what's not to love. Got sick of Windows quite a long time ago, but my biggest joy is the *nix underpinnings so I can natively ssh, admin Linux boxes, etc. Meanwhile upstairs is a mainstream GUI that runs all the apps I need.

I got this for my wife. We got fed up with the slow windows computers (even though we love Windows). This MacBook is lightning fast. The four star rating is due to Apple being so greedy. I don't think that it is very customer friendly to make it where your customers have to buy all those little necessities such as an adapter to be able to use USB devices, memory card reader, disk drive...etc. We knew what we were getting into when we purchased it though.

The laptop weighs less than previous MacBook Pros, which is a plus. I have yet to decide if the Touch Bar is a useful feature, so I will not comment on it. My only complaint is close to $3000 was spent on a device with glitches. The keyboard is very “glitchy”...so beware. This said, I would not recommend this device to a friend until the keyboard issue is fixed.

This MacBook was an upgrade for my wife's old MacBook and WOW what a difference! Power/speed is very impressive and the 15" display is awesome, the Touch Bar is something to get use to but the more we use it the more we like it. Great Job Apple!!!
