Needs work

Random crashes that would cause the computer to completely shut down. Overheating and bad battery drain. Also, ever since I upgraded to MacOS Big Sur, my Touch ID will no longer unlock my device. Tried resetting SMC and reinstalled the OS but no luck. I’m too afraid to take it to Apple because I already know their response is going to be “sorry it’s out of warranty, should have bought AppleCare”. Funny how the devices that I don’t add AppleCare to are the ones that somehow miraculously break.
