Best laptop ever definitely a must buy love it soo much

So this was my first major purchase as a college student. I was hesitant to invest so much money in an Apple laptop because some people told me it was not worth it. Personally, I think this Pro is great and it runs very smoothly. Not to mention that the keyboard is so nice and it not obnoxiously loud and annoying to hear. This is a pricey item, but I think that it was worth it.

Best laptop I have ever owned!!!! However, after 1.5 yrs it developed internal hardware issues that cost me an additional 1k to fix.

This laptop is amazing!!!! I am coming from a 2018 MacBook Pro with the problem prone butterfly keyboard. The "magic keyboard" is a massive improvement. The 2018 MBP that I came from also had overheating issues, the 16" version still gets hot when pushing it but the improved heat sync has also made a massive improvement. I am also pleased that apple choose to increase the base SSD size, 256gb for a $2400 laptop was a bit ridiculous to me. It now comes standard with 512gb on the base model. I am currently a college student and this MacBook provides more power than I could ever need for what I'm doing and then some. They have improved just about everything that apple users have asked for. This is truly a product were they listened to there base. I strongly suggest buying this laptop if you in the market for a new MacBook.

Pros: stylish, simple, (mostly) comfortable. Cons: massively overpriced, reaches temps of around 70F when it has Spotify and ten-ish tabs open on FIrefox, let alone more intensive programs like Premiere Pro. Bought it less than two years ago and the battery dies within three hours of it being fully charged. I figured I'd splurge on the i7 CPU/16GB RAM combo because I figured it would be powerful enough to handle multitasking for college courses, and editing videos and things on the side. I'm lucky if it stays below 65F while I'm browsing the internet while listening to music. I've stuck with my PC for what I wanted my MacBook to do because I'm worried about using it due to the setbacks I've seen. Overall, just don't buy it. It isn't worth it.

The magic keyboard on the 16inch is worth alone as an upgrade over the 13inch and old 15inch which have the butterfly keyboard! That just makes it a no brainer. Tried out in store and simply a great buy!

Very nice computer, but I am just trying to learn to use it. I have an iPad, but hardly ever use it. When I went to set up my computer, I entered all the information I had, including my Apple ID, but it does not recognize it, yet it is the same that I use for my iPad. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Another thing that is very frustrating is that it supposedly came with a year's free subscription to Apple TV, but I am being billed monthly for it and never have used it. Ever try to get in touch with Apple Support? I have been lead in all different directions and never found anyone to help me get the free version I am supposed to be getting. So much for that. That's what happens when you deal with a large company like Apple. No one really cares! If I had it to do over again, I would have stuck with Lenovo. At least I can get through to them for support. Now...the biggest threat is how secure my MacBook Pro really is with the latest iOS version (14). I've heard bad things about security issues with it. What next??

It took a little to get it set up because I am computer illiterate. It has brilliant color. There is a learning curve when you go from a PC to a Mac. I can't give enough credit the the Apple support staff. They were absolutely great. Very helpful and patient.

This was a Christmas gift for my niece, but from all that I can gather, she loves it.

It is the best laptop that I have owned. Very minor glitches that their techs squared right away.
