Great laptop, easy process, and got the 10% (~$220) back via the Best Buy credit card offer. To note though - the 5% is only redeemable via Best Buy and must be used within a certain time frame. ie. within about 2-3 months of the purchase. Logging into the Best Buy Citi account can be a hassle though. I googled it and it seems to be a common assurance.

I’m really excited about this purchase. I use my MacBook Pro for graphic design so i opted out of the M1 chip. I have the i7 which hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve already created huge print files and the laptop didn’t freeze. I’ve seen a lot of macs freeze when creating 4+ Gb psb fils, but this Mac book pro pulled it off!

First, I am new to MacBooks having come from a lifetime of Microsoft Windows computers heralding back to Windows 95. This MacBook was the last bastion to selling my soul to the Apple ecosystem as I already am pretty entrenched with the iPad Pro and iPhone. However the time was right as I got this beast for $400 off the massive $2,499 price, which is the best discount you are going to get for a MacBook of this caliber. The transition has been pretty seamless despite a few learning curves of learning a new OS. That said, the MacBook and its OS is simple to navigate and is quite intuitive once you get going. The gestures though! The gestures are a huge feature across all Apple devices that provide a pretty uniform user experience across all devices; and are quite efficient in their use and purpose. To be honest, this MacBook Pro is significantly more computer than I will ever really need for day to day use as I don't really do any video or photo editing, but look at it more as an investment that will last me 8-10 years and be future proof for several years while keeping high levels of resell value if I ever need to upgrade far down the road. Which can't be said much of most all Windows based machines that have half as much of a lifespan.

I had bought this model for my boot camp but unfortunately (or luckily) it was still signed in to the old user cloud. I had to bring it back to bb and get a new one because of that. Ended up getting a more robust model that was the only one available (this happened during the peak of COVID) so they gave me a good discount to get a better one.

This is my first Mac. I have several other apple products so I decided to go with this instead of another PC. The ease of transferring information to and from my iPad and iPhone is a big plus. I especially like how the photos can be organized by people, places, and date. Boots really fast. There is a big learning curve coming from windows.

I have only had this computer for one month so far, so this review will be short. I’ve been a HP person all my life, so this will take time to get use too. But, for right now, the start up was easy. I have only put a few software items on and has been a breeze so far. The battery life seems to last a pretty long time, way beyond anything I’ve ever had.

Faster, lighter and more powerful. Last one lasted almost 12 years.

So far it’s amazing. The only issue I’ve experienced is the battery does not last long; understandable with the laptop has but I wish the battery lasted longer—especially because I have not been doing any high-end stuff, such as playing games or video/photo projects. Just the basic things that are required of a college student. Another thing: it can get decently warm sometimes—though according to the Apple website, and some other reviewers, this is not a cause for a alarm.

I am extremely happy with my MacBook Pro. The processing speed is unlike anything I'm used to. This is my first Apple computer and I was worried I'd have a hard time with the switch from one operating system to the next; but Apple makes it super easy with their hints and online tutorials.

This is my first ever MacBook and I really enjoy it. I’m used to large screens so this having a 16 inch screen works well and is not overbearing. It’s a good in between. Apple also replaced the awful keyboard from the last model and improved the cooling efficiency due to its larger body.
