Not the fastest if your willing to pay more I’d recommend the higher end model. If your looking for a fast reliable laptop I’d highly recommend this one.

However, I do wish Apple would have kept the USB and HDMI as a part of the computer instead of having to buy a separate piece to get the USB and HDMI connection.

I can see what the fuss is about. The MacBook Pro is definitely premium priced but what you get is premium plus some. I installed Windows on the Boot Camp partition, and I can boot to that install quickly for full hardware experience or I can run Parallels within the Mac OS which lets me access that installation from within a window. Best of both worlds. I'm sold
