I LOVE this laptop. Screen is beautiful, speed is excellent, and it is much more affordable than other 16" models. If there is one complaint, it would be with the battery life...it is not an "all day" battery and usually needs to be plugged in after 3-4 hours of normal usage.

Super easy to use and extremely nice screen. Only draw back is cost.

This is my first MacBook Pro so I did not know what to expect. I previously had an iMac that I sold so I could move to a laptop. I needed to be able to work away from my office chair. This is an extremely powerful device with a gorgeous screen. I have also been amazed by the sound quality. You won't need headphones when using this laptop! I really love that Apple give you Bootcamp right out of the box. I was up and running with Windows 10 as well quite quickly. Although the Touchbar (along with the Touch Pad) work better in the MacOS (Catolina), the laptop runs Windows quite well. It does run warmer in Windows 10 because Apple requires it to use the dedicated graphics card in Windows (versus going back and forth to the integrated card in Catolina as needed). One can purchase a laptop cooler for it to sit on when on your lap. Also, it does not do quite as well with battery life in Windows. But this display blows away so much of the competition. It is a fair amount brighter than most other screens for this category, and the colors seem to be much richer. I thought about the Microsoft Surface products but their screens are not in this class. This laptop has been a pleasant surprise!

This MacBook was purchased to replace an older MacBook that quit working. So far, this one has many more features and is easier to use than the old MacBook. I was pleased to see that the power adapter works with my new iPad Air4. This MacBook is also much lighter than my previous model, the clarity is much better, as well.

This is a bit noisy with fan hum... but it's great otherwise. It runs games, video and photo editing, sound editing, and anything else I need. I like the Fingerprint Reader to unlock and the Touch Bar too. I might upgrade to an M1 machine when they reveal the new Pro version of the machines. This one is great though.

Apple did it again great display fast processing and ease of use.

the 16 inch display is incredible. High performance with many applications LOVE how powerful this beautiful beast is. I can created my animations with no struggle. And it renders at lightening speed which means my fans of my Youtube Channel will get faster animated horror stories from me.

I love apple, but this one is somewhat a disappointment. I have had the Macbook for 3 months at the time of this review, and believe that is enough time to give a solid review. There are some features that are exceptional. The first one I think of is the outstanding screen quality and sun glare doesn't seem to be an issue. Its highly functional and easy to navigate screens. The keyboard is like cutting a knife through soft butter. It flows and is quite a pleasurable experience. I find myself typing harder than required because I am used to typing on switch keys that are harder to depress. The touch bar, its cool, i rarely use it so it doesn't serve me much function. Now come the criticism. First, the Macbook over-heats every other session I am using it. I dont mean just a little warm, I mean HOT! I don't feel comfortable leaving it on or plugged in when I am sleeping or away from home. It's pretty dangerous i'd imagine. Second, It doesn't measure up to the speed I would have expected from the specs. I was told I would be able to do multiple application processes and it would not lag or crash. Thus far, I have crashes/lag approximately 15-20% of the time. Might not seem like much but when you have a project that has several hours of effort put in and it crashes or freezes, that is a much larger number and extremely frustrating. So, you're probably thinking, "why don't you just save your work more often." Well, that's a great idea, but there are times I am so involved in my work that I am not thinking about saving my project before it crashes. Overall, I like the Macbook Pro 16" but maybe consider something less expensive, I don't see the value of this Macbooks updated specs.

I'm hoping this MacBook Pro lasts as long as my previous one did because if it does it will be the last one I ever have to purchase. The new version has some really cool additions / changes, such as, the touch bar, which becomes relevant to what you are working on at the moment. Pricey - YES. Worth it - Absolutely.

My new macbook pro i9 replaces my old macbook pro 13 inches which I bought last 2012. I love the touchbar and the sounds.. I don’t need a speaker when I want to listen to my fave music or watch a movie. It’s handy and lightweight. I’m very at ease to use it. I’ll probably buy a new one for my daughter as a gift for her 18th bday.

Bought this for my wife as she is a Youtuber, she was previously editing her videos with an app on her iPhone. The editing software she now uses with her MacBook cut her editing time by like 60%. Runs very smooth and beautiful display very user friendly and love how it syncs with all of our apple devices so easily.

This is my second Macbook Pro that I've purchased. The first one lasted me ten years and has never given me any trouble. This new one completely blew me away. The display is amazing and the keyboard is so much better than my 2009 Macbook Pro. I'm loving the touch bar. Everything about this laptop is amazing.

A great MacBook for graphic designers! A must have

This is top-notch technology for a power user. Apple has made a MacBook Pro that improves on nearly every aspect of the previous generation. It has a stunning 16-inch screen and superb speakers. This MacBook Pro 16-inch also has the best keyboard on a MacBook ever. If you have the budget for, go for it!! You won’t regret a bit.

Absolutely love this laptop. Has been my workhorse for video and photo editing. Touch far as surprisingly come in handy now that I’ve gotten used to using it. I definitely appreciate the rugged design as it travels with me and has definitely gotten its fair share of physical abuse lol.

Sleek, fast and easy to use. Couldn’t ask for more!

I have owned Apple phones for many yeasts. This is my first Apple laptop. I love it!! The design is very sleek; awesome battery life. It took a little while to figure out how to use the laptop, but I feel more confident now. I’m sure there will be many more amazing discoveries as I continue to play with it.

I haven’t owned a MacBook since 2015 time frame and this thing is a power house. If you’re looking at this item you know it’s a Mac and you’re going to shell out some money for it, but the design and over all performance is awesome. If the price tag came down a little bit I’d probably buy another one.

This is my first MacBook in 10 years and it’s made me realize I was an idiot for going anywhere else. The ease of use and how seemlessly is connects with my phone and other devices is a nice convenience. It has enough power to run games if I want too and is perfect for any day to day business I have.

I purchased this laptop as a dual-purpose work/home use computer and so far this laptop has performed better than any previous laptop I've owned, to date. While running parallels it will boot Windows 10 in less than 10 seconds, faster than my HP laptop that only runs windows. This being my fist MacBook computer, most of my frustrations in setting it up have been with the lack of application parity between the iPad and MacBook models, but realizing the two run different operating systems I guess this is to be expected. This laptop is blazing fast to boot up and I haven't had any issues with the video graphics or CPU showing any signs of sluggish operation while running multiple applications at the same time. Very happy with the fit and finish of the hardware, and it appears to be very well built.
