It’s more complicated than I thought. I need to take classes.

I purchased this Macbook Pro as a Certified Open Box Item and was so happy that I was finally getting a Macbook Pro, something I have wanted for years now, for such a great price. Unfortunately, when I went to set it up, "Find my Macbook" had not been logged out so I was unable to proceed with set up and had to return it. I don't know how this got past Geek Squad when they certified it but that won't stop me from purchasing open boxed items. I have purchased many open boxed items and saved hundreds of dollars, so don't let this discourage you. I ended up purchasing a really nice Certified open box laptop and saved hundreds. I still want my Macbook Pro, but will wait for the 16 inch with the M1 chip.

I am overall satisfied with this product as far as functionality. However a couple of issues have arisen that have earned this rating. The least troublesome is the short return and exchange window allowed by Best Buy, specially for a product they don't stock enough of. If I wanted to exchange this item I would had have to drive 50 miles to the closest store that had the item in stock. The second and most egregious issue and most responsible for this review is the sound emanating from this Macbook when tilted. There is something loose inside of it, my guess is probably a screw or some sort of loose solder. I understand defects happen however, for a product with this price tag the entire experience should feel like you are pampering yourself and with such a short return window it feels like less like the latter and more like gotcha retailing.

Great laptop but pricey. Apple is outpricing it's MacBook.

I loved the design and how it would tie into my: Apple Watch, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my 12.9 iPad Pro tablet, BUT what I hated about it and I immediately brought it back, was because it didn’t allow me to download certain apps that was important for my studies, that for me ‘killed the deal’ because that was just one of the major reasons for buying it. I wanted the same apps on all my devices to collaborate together, no matter which one I was on. I can honestly say that if this is improve on the Apple Laptop, then I would consider purchasing one, for now I am enjoying my 360 Spectra HP Laptop—-with its gold/chocolate and jewel cut design 2-1 finishes.

Super fast & incredible graphics, but it’s huge. I upgraded from a 13” MacBook Pro because I couldn’t get the performance I needed. Overall this a wonderful MacBook. Too much mouse travel when doing photo editing and other tasks. It’s took big for the kitchen table and my desk.

Issues with over heating and battery drain- returned. I think issues were around Adobe programs and the computers GPUs and CPUs not strong enough to handle Adobe products. The computer it’s self was great. Just couldn’t handle what I needed it for.

Great Laptop but over priced. Great display and speedy but not perfect. I am not happy that I ordered the MacBook in late March 2021 and the machine I received was built in lat 2019... that sucks. My understanding was the laptop I ordered in March on 2021 was actually made in 2020 but not the case. Poor or even misleading advertising. I am not happy

I bought this 16” MBP and love it. It works great.

OK we drank the kool aid. This purchase is a gift!

The laptop has a light bleed in one of the corners. Geek squad is backed up for over a week. Apple Care will look at it on the 16th. A bit inconvenient but will get through it. It would bw great if the locations in Chicago were reopened.

DO NOT BUY!!! After only a year of use, the laptop just went blank. Told it will be at least $700 to reboot it most likely more than $700

Not as described "Certified Open Box" with all original packaging, etc. Computer itself is so dirty with bottom of the device showed all kinds of dirty marks.

Great colors, very fast! Love my Mac! Makes doing business easy!
