Haven't tried the new i9 yet since taking first one back. Best buy gave me a new one with just a few questions. I hope this one is flawless because its pricey. Overall, great service on best buys part.

I have been a Mac user for a long time and never had a problem like this. Burning hot on the bottom simply running Safari. Fans were nonstop running at full speed which also made the machine loud. Checked the Usage and Safari was only using 5% of the CPU. I think the culprit might be the video rather than the CPU. Had to return for a 13 inch as I really wanted 16G of memory and 1T of storage. Thanks to BB though as they handled everything perfectly!

I bought an “excellent” condition geek squad certified MacBook Pro from the Doral store. Some keys don’t work very well and the quick time player refuses to open. I’m constantly using my laptop to work and for school so I haven’t had time to take it to apple to fix these issues. If AI has to do it all again I would’ve spent the extra $100 to make sure it was in new, pristine condition; not “excellent” geek squad certified condition.

In my experience this laptop has the most beautiful display and the best sound in a laptop. The keyboard is good too. But the heat generated bothered me a lot. Especially when I ran virtual machines. It makes the laptop uncomfortable to use . The lack of a sd card reader is also a setback. At least, a adapter should be included in the package. This laptop is great for light stuff. But for light stuff you can get a pc or MacBook Air and save almost $2000

Processor and computer it self is good. However just get yourself a PC-touchscreen is much better and efficient. Apple get with the program.

Don't buy it. Macbook Pro NOT worthy your money. The logic board was ate with zombies.

Not a cheap computer, but I loved my last Mac. Had this one for two weeks and the touch bar freaked out, then disappeared. Tried all of the on-lines fixes, none worked. Unfortunately, I am now in Brazil, so when I contacted Best Buy, they told me to contact Apple, who told me to find an Apple place and bring it in. Being located 3 hours from the nearest city, it's not exactly easy or convenient, and with such a high price tag, I wouldn't expect to have to get it fixed right after purchase.

Ive had many issues with this computer since I bought it. Screen glitches and speakers stop working randomly. Sometimes it slows down significantly. It wasn't worth saving a few hundred dollars buying an open box product. I wish I would have just bought new. Also, Best Buy support is obviously out-sourced. So, they are little-to-no help; you will just have some random guy suggesting that you reset you computer or check that the power cord is plugged in...USELESS.

Cool looking... all the specs... LITERALLY DIED ON ME—ie Wouldnt even turn on or show any sign of life— AFTER **ONLY 9 WEEKS**. Unbelievable.

If I would have known open box would not have come with an operating system and ready to go I would have just bought the new one. Now I get to sit here for hours loading the system since it did not come with anything on the computer at all. if it leave the store it should be ready to turn on and go. 3k for a computer with no operating system software is a joke. not a happy camper about it at all

the macbook is fine, works as intended. What makes me mad is the fact that best buy neglected to inform its members that it no longer offers reward points on apple products. Spent over $2k on a MacBook and waited ages to get the points. They never came. I had to do a ton of digging to find that the stopped giving points for Apple products late 2019.....

Be careful the screen is very sensitive I recommend buy Apple care or any insurance if your computer damaged minimum repair fee in 900$

I thought it would be better. My first ever macbook. A little disappointed that it doesn't live up to the reviews.

Not too keen on Apple products but will give this a try for now. Maybe the tiger will trade his stripes.

I'm certain this MacBook Pro is about as good as it gets, but I can't rate it because I couldn't get into it. Hence the one star rating. However, I had to return it because I do not have the password from when I purchased the Apple Iphone. Apple cannot help retrieve the username or password. They asked security questions I would have never chosen, and sent links to an email I've never had because it had letters in the abbreviation that I've never had in an email Consequently, and unfortunately I had to return the MacBook because I will never be able to synchronize it to Iphone, and will never be able to update anything because they ask for the password I can never get, and the entire loop starts over again. I spent several hours on two occasions with Apple support to no avail, they absolutely cannot help get around the password problem.

the laptop overheated so I had to return it. It was a 'open box' special.

I was excited to upgrade my 2014 model to the newest model, but it kept freezing every 20-30 seconds, watching videos, typing, moving files... after two calls with Apple support to try and resolve the issue. The next option was to send to Apple, i was not sending a brand new computer so I had exchanged it. I will update after the exchanged computer is set up.
