Customers are saying

Customers love the MacBook Pro 16" for its impressive performance and large screen size, frequently praising its ease of use and the innovative Touch Bar. While some users mention the high price point and heat generation, many appreciate the lightweight design and excellent speakers. Concerns about the limited port selection and fan noise were also noted.

How do ppl use macbook, so flawed, overrated. I imported videos from iphone 13 pro and it's so jittery and you can see pixels. Video card and display sucks. Can't believe ppl review macbook highly, I can only imagine how cheap macbook airs are. Mac is just so not intuitive. After using it for a week. All the details are not there with macbook. So hard to import files. Even renaming folders or even finding how many files are located in a folder is not available. Air drop consistly fails for the top of the line product. Seriously the standards ppl set for Apple is so low.

Finally, it feels like Apple is listening again

I've not cared much about bezels either way, so the reduced bezels aren't a big deal to me, but the more edge to edge display does look nice. Otherwise, the color and saturation of the display is at Apple's usual standards. The speakers are fantastic. Take a listen to "Sound of Silence" by Disturbed on the Conan show and I cannot imagine how you'd not be impressed by the depth of sound. I've been listening to various genre's of music on Spotify and just wow. They physical ESC key is nice and you can feel it by touch, especially if you tend to go towards the left of the key and work your way back so you don't hit anything on the Touch Bar. I was OK with the butterfly keyboard and may have liked it better if other keyboards I had to use were of the same style but jumping between it and other keyboards (especially a ThinkPad) was jarring. This keyboard is a much better compromise. There isn't as much give as a ThinkPad but the keys don't feel nearly as wobbly. They feel very precise with a good deal more press than the butterfly. I've been typing for less than an hour on this keyboard and it's been an easy adjustment after typing on a ThinkPad. Oh, and the inverted T arrows keys are so much nicer. You can locate your fingers on them without looking now much more accurately. Everything else pretty standard Apple quality. The laptop isn't perfect (what laptop is?) but compared to recent iterations over the last several years, this laptop model is finally heading in a positive direction again and it feels like Apple is listening. The separate physical ESC key and keyboard are strong indicators of that.

I own a Sony 65” AF8 and love it. I bought this TV for my brother and wish I would have purchased another OLED. The picture quality is terrible in comparison and has me wondering if it is defective. Even when watching DVDs it has a bad picture.

I love the computer. The tech support was the worst I have ever had. I have spent thousands of dollars this last year, bought the tech support package, and this is the first time I have had a terrible experience. I made an appointment for help with the set up on my new Mac Pro. The tech was awful. She didn’t add the anti virus to my device like I was told by the salesman, would be installed. I had two questions, she handed me two printed sheets, and said, follow these. She couldn’t wait to get me out the door! I just called the store, tried to explain to the tech, he hung up on me. Unbelievable.

    Wire for cameras

Margaret came to install the cameras. They did not have enough cable to finish the two rear cameras. She sent me a text telling me she had sent me a link to order the wire and it was to come directly to my house. I'm the customer. I should not have to order wire that best buy reps should have brought with them. I'm not buying or ordering the wire. Either get this job done or pick up your cameras and give my money back. The rep was nice and seems to know what she is doing. I like her but am not ordering or paying for the wire. The camera on the ramp side needs to be secured as well. It seems to be just hanging there.

This MacBook was slow, buggy, and really not much better than my 2012 MacBook. I found myself continuing to use iPad Pro tablets for just about everything. Within eight months after purchase, this MacBook is now an unresponsive brick. I give it one star, because I could not select zero.

Don’t waste your money. My battery dies in 1 hr. They changed my battery and it still dies in 1 hr. This started in 6 months after purchase. I always have it plugged in. 1.5 years later it starts freezing up on me and overheating. The fan always turns on and I call apple to have them fix the freezing and it doesn’t work and continues to do this. I paid $2500 for this and it gives me all these problems. Worthless. Make sure to get the warranty just in case this happens to you.

As someone who’s owned both 13’ and 15’ MBP from the butterfly era (2019 13’ and 2017 15’) , I realized after using this machine how much the little quirks from those laptops annoyed me, and how fixing them with this model has made it a joy to use... First off the keyboard. The butterfly keyboard never grew on me. Usable? Yes. Enjoyable? Not if you’re typing for extended periods. My fingers always felt a little sore after a few pages. These feel cushy, springy, and just all around much more nice to type with. Honestly the new keyboard gets me a little too excited lol. Second, the screen. You wouldn’t think .6 inches of added space would make a difference, but it does. The screen feels so much more modern and immersive and gives me more space to fit In documents and web pages without compromising their size. Also, I do feel like it is just a tad sharper than my previous 15’, even though it’s only 7 ppi more. Bright and colorful as always. My other major factor with my previous 15 inch was battery. I would always have battery anxiety when out and about. Although it would last a respectable 6-7 hours depending on usage, the battery percentage would click down just a little too quickly for my liking, and it would always be at the back of my mind. This machine has alleviated that. No, it’s not as good as my old MacBook Air, but I definitely don’t check the percentage anymore. Even watching YouTube, writing documents, surfing the web, using Spotify, I get a comfortable 8-9 hours WITH about 75% brightness. Finally, the speakers. Oh the speakers. These are just *chef’s kiss* magnifique. Rich, nuances, loud, clean, I honestly can’t listen to music on another laptop after these. It’s ruined me. Overall I’m so pleased with Apple. I was always a fan, but this really solidified them in my mind as the premiere best all around manufacturer of laptops when considering the OS as well. AND the same starting price as original 15’ with more storage and updated almost all other internals?! Well worth the .3 lbs it adds to my backpack. If you’re considering this and you have the cash, get it. Its honestly a no-brainer.
