Customers love the MacBook Pro 16" for its impressive performance and large screen size, frequently praising its ease of use and the innovative Touch Bar. While some users mention the high price point and heat generation, many appreciate the lightweight design and excellent speakers. I am so happy they finally ditched the horrid, truly terrible butterfly keyboard and moved back to the scissor keyboard. There is a bit less travel on this new 2019 model than on my 2015 model (which I still love and am writing this review on), but it is a huge and welcome improvement. I love the new 16" display as well, which is a real bonus. Apple is back with this laptop. I only wish they had done this with their 2019 update earlier this year, which I do have and is going for sale on eBay.

I debated between the 13 inch and this model. I settled on function over convenience and I do not regret it. While this laptop is large, I got used to the size quickly and it’s more manageable and lighter than I anticipated. If you’re on the fence, I strongly recommend considering this model.

I love Apple products. This is a fast laptop that can handle my everyday work (no, I am not a gamer). Two features that standout to me are the touch ID password to open it and the larger screen. I still miss the old 17" MacBook, but this is close enough for my aging eyes.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic I have had to work from home. I had many problems with my former computer but since I upgraded to this MacBook Pro for all my work applications it has performed beautifully. It is fast, intuitive and reliable. I could not be more pleased!

Great computer. I'm thrilled Apple has decided to start making larger MacBooks again (our previous was a 17") - the 16" on this makes a much-needed difference. I am a graphic designer and my husband uses this for editing photos. Works great and is very fast. I love the fingerprint ID for login, makes it extremely fast. My only complaint is all ports are now USB-C - so every flash drive, hard drive cord, card readers, and anything else previously owned, etc, etc, all need adaptors to work with this machine.

This guy here absolutely price/performance product. I9 CPU 16gb Ram 1TB SSD. Could be better GPU but mac OS work perfect with this GPU. After iphone 11 series battery life i knew Apple started to listen us. I hope they'll keep listening us.

This computer is great! Crazy expensive, but honestly worth it. I had a MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2012, and it still works, but has significantly slowed in speed. So this was purchase was the replacement, and I have NO regrets. It’s fast, has some cool upgraded features, has twice the amount of storage my former one has. It’s an all around win for me. The only cons I would say are it’s lack of other basic components, such as a dvd drive, a regular USB-A port (only USB-C ports are on it, a total of 4)...it just doesn’t have all the other plug in components my older Mac has and it’s a lot thinner, which just makes me want to be extra careful with it. I dropped my older Mac the first week I had it, and it dented the charging port but didn’t do any other damage (pretty impressive). Not sure this one would be able to do the same, and I hope to never find out. Other than that, it’s a GREAT computer!

This was my first Mac and WOW are they quick. It is quite nice how everything syncs across all your Apple devices! About 1 month in, my computer crashed with all my business data in it. I couldn’t believe a brand new Mac would just crap out. Called tech support and they ran me through some remedies but no luck so they sent a box out to pick it up since I have no Mac store near me and it came in 2 days, 5 days later I had my Mac. 7 day turn around computer back with new hardware and I just plugged in my back up drive and had my computer back. Apple made it a simple repair process and apologized for the situation. This will not be my last Mac, comparing it to my dell work laptop it is way smoother and can work quicker. I have a thunderbolt 3 dongle with 2- 27” screens and a iPad Pro all connected including the Mac’s beautiful screen for when I want to get some major work done! Definitely recommend, but it isn’t cheap... at all...

As always, another fine product by Apple. I came from a 13" pro that was a year old and the difference in the screen is fantastic! The only gripe I have is the loss of the butterfly keyboard on previous models. I know they have had a ton of problems with them, but I really enjoyed using that keyboard. Other than that this has been a pleasure. If you have to ask if it's worth the money, you have probably never owned one. Make no mistake, this is an investment, but it is one that will be with it for most power users. If you are looking for something to browse the web and check your Facebook feed, there are much more affordable ways to do that. If you are looking for the best of the best, look no further. This is my 5th MacBook, and will most surely not be my last.

My old 2015 15' Macbook pro's screen cracked internally before my school's finals, so I made the purchase to get this one for use. Wonderful laptop, easy to use and get working, smooth keyboard, and the upgrade to the touch bar was worth the purchase. The power and quality of life features are unparalleled. Zero major issues so far (other than the cost). The only issues I have had so far is worrying about it overheating and feeling like the battery drains fairly quickly.

Great upgrade from my MBP 13 and Razer Gaming laptop. Runs very hot when utilizing graphic intensive programs. Fan noise is louder than I am used to in an MBP. Performs great though. Battery life is about 30% less than I'm used to from Apple laptops. The screen size is excellent. The only complaint may be the oversized trackpad. When utilizing a mouse your palm will register as a swipe sometimes ruining gaming experiences and video editing.

This is my 30th Apple Computer and the best that I have owned so far. Blazing fast and extremely easy to use. I have to use a PC at work. It is cumbersome, slow and needs to update constantly. I can't wait to get home from work and run my beloved Mac again. Everything runs better on a Mac.

I've always been more of a windows computer and still properly that operating system until get use to this one. That stated, this operating system is nice as well, just takes some time to get use to. Although you WILL pay a premium price for Apple when compared to other computer brands, MacBooks last forever. I've bought many other name brands over the last decade. I was probably average a computer every 2 years due to quality issues, viruses or whatever else. However, my spouse had her Mac for +5 years and still running strong. Therefore, although you may pay a premium upfront, in the long run the MacBooks are the better long term investment. You could even sell it after 5 years and still recoup some money because of the large Apple fanbase around the world!!

I have had may 13" MacBooks, and just decided to upgrade to the larger newer macbook pro. I love it. I can believe I was looking at the tiny screen before. The graphics and latest tech, smart bar on top of the keyboard, etc are really next level. I highly recommend.

2020 keyboard is a huge improvement from previous generations of MacBooks. I love the 16 inch screen -- great for productivity. I do a fair amount of video editing and graphics work. I have had no performance issues. This is a great laptop that handles the load really well.

Compared to my old Mac book I got in 2011, Great visual display. Battery life is longer. System is faster. slick yet heavy for being so thin. Downsides are there are no USB ports or aux jack and you need to purchase the adapters. worth the purchase and worth the wait.

I run Logic Pro X often from my computer and this is exactly what I needed. So happy to not hear the fan running every minute and watching my files crash every other minute. Works like a charm, worth the investment. Still wondering if I'll regret not getting Apple Care.

First time Mac user. This PC is fast and the picture is very crisp. This model is heavier than the 16in. I bought this for my T-shirt apparel business. However, I do enjoy watching my shows from this Mac than my on tv. I think I am becoming a convert.

By far the fastest computer for the money. I can do anything that my mind wants to do with this MacBook. The screen size and clarity is unbelievable. The 16 is the way to go! It is a little heavier, but the functionality is remarkable!

Power in a compact unit. I use the MacBook for Photo editing and boy is it powerful and fast. The one drawback I don't like is that they've taking most of the ports out of the machine requiring you to buy an extra accessory to accept most wires.
