I've had an iMac and a MacBook Air for the last 10 years. It was a hard decision to make because I loved my MBA. After a lot of consideration I purchased the MacBook Pro 16-inch and I absolutely love it. I'm glad I made the purchase. I'm pleased with every aspect of it. The sound and video are amazing, it's fast and the battery life is excellent. It is heavier than what I'm used to but easily tolerated. I consider it an investment for my writing and photography.

Fast and quiet Operation. The keyboard is excellent (smooth pressure, quick response) and the speakers are better than last generation. The trackpad is large, has classic MBP touch and is easy to use. The retinal display is clear, sharp and I feel is the best on a laptop for high resolution work. While it’s not a problem, the unit occasionally gets warm and might be uncomfortable is your laptop sits in your lap. This is my fifth MBP and the best so far.

Its fine but after a while it gets super hot and the fans are super loud too. But I don't really mind it. Just make sure you buy a air cooler for it. But it's super fast and I enjoy using it.

The Intel works amazing great battery life clear picture fast processor

I really like Apple, but it is getting harder to find accessories that connect seamless to everything Apple. TB3 MacBook Pro is great as a standalone laptop, but if you need a docking station to connect two monitors good luck. I use a 28 inch Asus as a main monitor and have a 42 inch tv as a second monitor. Apple blocks standards that Microsoft does not and I can't get the second monitor to work with the dock as a mirror of my main display. To be fair everything works if I plug in all four TB3 ports with different adaptors, but the dock is supposed to take care of that. Apple doesn't make the accessories, so they don't support anything none Apple. I run windows on a Bootcamp portions and everything works great with the dock. Otherwise, Touch Bar is fun and fingerprint sensor is really nice.

I love this computer! I have an iMac but I needed something that was portable. Very easy to use. Even if you had never used Apple products before, this computer makes it really easy to learn how to use it. They have a book on the Apple store that breaks down everything this computer does. I believe its a 200 page e-book. This computer is very quick. I haven't had any issues with it.

Upgraded from early 2015 MacBook Pro 13. This one takes the cake. Yes it’s pricey, but you get what you pay for. The 16” size doesn’t feel like huge laptop. It’s just a bit bigger compared to my 13, but it is also thinner. I only bought this specific model because of the sale best buy was having... why not spend $350 for an upgraded graphics card, cores, processor, and double the storage. The 16” size is perfect, it’s still very portable and compact! Couldn’t imagine going back to 13 or the upcoming 14”. I will likely never utilize this computer to its full potential but knowing what it’s capable of gives me the piece of mind. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase. Apple takes things to a different level, and this is on an another level. All you Mac haters can likely find better specs on a PC for cheaper but you won’t get this. “Always imitated but never duplicated”.

New keyboard on this MacBook Pro 2019 makes it great again. Brilliant screen and fast, does not overheat.

Apple has made significant improvements, starting with the long awaited 16 inch screen. They switched back to the more reliable keyboard, as the previous generation models were known to fail. This laptop has much better cooling, with improved air flow. It even starts with higher specs for a lower price compared to older models, such as 512GB storage and 16GB ram. This is one of the best laptops currently on the market, and the best laptop from Apple.

Beautiful, works like a charm, nice specs. I'm a software engineer and I can't complain at all about this Mac book pro. The only 2 cons that I can come up with are: - Fans in full are really loud - It leans towards the "heavier" side. If you intend to go up and down, left and right and walk all over the place, perhaps this isn't the one for you. At the end of the day it's all about trade offs. To me, it is completely worth it.

I love my computer and I recommend since it serves all my needs.

I upgraded to this computer from an 11 year old Macbook Pro. Even though I've only had this Mac for a few days I have fell in love with it. It's fast and responsive. The keyboard is wonderful to type on even though it doesn't have the same travel. The tactile feedback is perfect for me. The touch bar I felt I would struggle with but have found it has become a part of workflow now. I'd recommend this mac to anyone.

This MacBook Pro gets the job done every time. From regular day to day usage to processing videos for my YouTube channel. I held off for many years on buying a new MacBook. As soon as the 16” was released, I knew I would get one as soon as they started to give deals on them. The MacBook Pro just works and the experience is even better because I have an iPhone and an iPad so being in the Apple eco system is great.

I waited a LONG time to upgrade my 2010 17" MacBook pro. I never quite liked the 15" Macs that came after it so I kept waiting and hoping Apple would eventually put out another 17". However, now in 2020 my 2010 Pro is still working but showing enough signs that I worry about something major going out, and the trackpad no longer works well. So the recent President's Day sale and additional Best Buy discounts offered up a price that was enticing enough to convince me to buy the 16" Pro. Conclusion so far: A fantastic machine. The keyboard is better than what Apple has been putting on their computers the last 4 or 5 years, and it's almost as good as the one on my 2010 Mac (great keyboard). The Retina display is fabulous. The SOUND is quite remarkable and better than any laptop sound I've ever heard, almost like having a separate set of speakers with good bass, good separation, just wonderful...even for just voice recordings. I was never really excited about the touch bar, but I've found I like it a lot. Overall, I've been using Macs since the first one in 1984, and this is the most amazing one yet. Pricey yes, but Macs have always been pricey. For good reason: they last and last, sometimes longer than you want them to!

I work in tech and have more computers than the average person, and this particular new Macbook Pro brings its greatest value to me with the strength of its graphics card being capable of simultaneously displaying on its screen along with four additional 4k screens, with clarity, and absolutely no motion blurring. It's a very full generation of more powerful with today's computing than its predecessor for this reason alone.

Glorious! Runs very quickly and the large screen is fantastically useful. Sometimes I do feel like the screen power is burning my pupils since I’ve had lasik surgery and my eyes are a bit more sensitive, so I got some blue light blocking glasses and that helped tremendously. Otherwise, amazing! Love the keyboard! Love that it has multiple ports. Very easy set up and easy to air drop everything and anything with other devices

This was bought as a present from my wife. I was still on a Macbook Pro 13" 2012 model, and to be honest, Apple makes such great machines I really didn't feel I needed the upgrade. But... I am spoiled with the larger real estate, fast boot times and I love the functionality of the touch bar. So given the huge improvement, it is easy for me to be happy. But Apple is always a worthwhile investment that I feel is worth every penny.

This is the best laptop I have ever owned and its extremely fast. I have tried many apps and tried a game or two and this machine didn’t blink at all. The only problem I found with this PC is the weight.....I’m not sure if I should of stayed with a 13’ and I am still not sure. I really like the bar display and the screen is amazing.....I wish Apple would bring the price down just a little bit more. I paid $2499.
