I love the 16 inch screen. Great performance for my use. It is a little pricey though.

This was bought as a present from my wife. I was still on a Macbook Pro 13" 2012 model, and to be honest, Apple makes such great machines I really didn't feel I needed the upgrade. But... I am spoiled with the larger real estate, fast boot times and I love the functionality of the touch bar. So given the huge improvement, it is easy for me to be happy. But Apple is always a worthwhile investment that I feel is worth every penny.

Purchased this Macbook Pro to replace an old MacBook that was no longer compatible with new software. Enjoying the enhanced speed, resolution, speakers and the 16 in size just right.

This is the first apple product I’ve ever and I never been so happy to have such a great experience with this laptop it’s very slim for its size and rarely gets hot The battery life is excellent with heavy use The display is beautiful And I love the touch ID and the Touch Bar display I would Definitely recommend this laptop for people who edit videos And Youtubers this is a must buy!

Excellent performance, build, design, ergonomics Exceptional value for the price - although pricey, you absolutely get what you pay for Peace of mind with Best Buy and AppleCare support Buying a new laptop is definitely NOT a purchase to take lightly - Yet with this MacBook Pro, after enormous amount of research, is hands down the best out there. No buyer’s remorse whatsoever. Just do it! My two cents: *Make sure to purchase a protection plan *Make sure to purchase an antivirus protection plan *Make sure to fully explore and examine your MacBook Pro promptly after purchase for defects, Including both tangible / physical condition of the laptop itself AND any problems with performance - **The initial prompt to “Get to know your MacBook Pro” (paraphrasing), is a great way to guide you through this process. The prompt should come up on the right side of the screen, (when facing the computer screen directly) Write down any questions or concerns you may have, and contact the store as soon as possible before the return window closes. **Although you (should) have a purchase protection plan, it’s easier to resolve issues within the return window than using your plan. (A simple exchange would be much better if it resolves the issue(s)

Love Macs so I knew what I was getting. Because of the Wuhan virus I ordered online and it was brought out to my car. The only thing the need to work on is communications between customer and the store when you arrive for pickup. Other than that it was an easy purchase. The only thing I have an issue with is it has no USB ports so I had to buy a connector for my usb devices. Has a long battery life.

Strong performance and battery life. More screen without increasing weight or footprint.

After having Apple products exclusively for a decade, I finally had enough when they redesigned late 2016. After owning that MacBook "Pro" for a year I dumped it and went to Windows, Razer Blade. Was extremely happy with my razer for a very long time. Last year upgraded that unit with the Alienware M15r2 Lunar white with the RTX2070. By far the best keyboard I have ever had in a laptop but it was still very bulky and had a number of other issues, which still hasn't been resolved by Dell under warranty (basically a brick now) I thought ok let me take a look at Apple again after seeing all the reviews about how much better and return to form the 16" was. I took the leap and am very pleasantly pleased. Keyboard is night and day better than before. The i9 with the Radeon Pro 5500m to me made the most sense and wow am I happy with the choice. Highly recommend for those who stepped away from apple and are thinking about returning.

Lite weight easy to use, quick response and very clear display

I’m writing this review after 5 months of purchasing this laptop. The laptop is great! I had an issue with the charger not working the first day and Best Buy replaced it immediately. It’s a awesome laptop. Extremely fast and perfect for all my online classes. The laptop charges fast and keeps battery life for a long time.

Upgraded from my 2015 MacBook Pro 2015 to this model. Needed new Mac for video editing and live streaming and this MacBook was the best choice for me without going even deeper into my wallet. I love the speakers and the screen is amazing. I was concerned the 16” was going to be too big compared to what I was used to in my 13” but it has not been an issue at all. Highly recommended.

This computer is very big in size and is very good for people who can't see a small screen. The computer has a great audio sound on the computer, as well as the touch bar on the computer is very cool and smart for any work that needs to be done. It provides good essentials with USB ports and being able to download stuff is really good.

I had the original Intel Macbook, and later a MacBook Air. Since then I have used an iMac and a 2012 mac mini. These were adequate for my needs. I have been in charge of streaming for my church and doing streaming for myself since everything has been shut down. This seemed like the best option for portability and power. We are streaming at 720p and 1080 max resolution so we might have been ok with the 13-inch MacBook pro, but I got this one for a little bit of video editing I do and the larger screen. I find the amount of power the MacBook has is at least as good as my 2015 5k iMac. It is more portable than I thought it would be. My last laptop that was close to this size was a 15.4 inch Dell that I had in college. This feels much more manageable. I think I will bring it with me moth days. On days where portability is an issue and I only need e-mail and apple pages, I will use my iPad. I do think the price is a little high for someone who is streaming at my level. I got an Openbox one and that brought the price down to something I felt was more manageable. I did have a problem with it. It seems that Bestbuy did not ensure that the previous owner disabled FindmyMac. If this happens to you, you have to call Apple. It is a bit of a hassle. I think I would have just returned it already and exchanged it if that was not even more of a hassle because the store is curbside only.

I just recently got the higher end MacBook Pro 16 inch! After trying to find the right one! This being the first Mac I own, other then a old mid 2010 I had for $100! This thing is amazing in all ways! I love the Touch ID and Touch Bar! It’s extremely fast with everything and love the space gray color! I highly recommend getting this MacBook for video editing if you have the money for it!

Been a long time Macbook Pro user and the little tweaks to this model make for a very nice upgrade. The more powerful processor is always a good thing. The increase screen size with minimal change in overall dimensions is amazing. The improved keyboard is a blessing, especially with the dedicated ESC and TouchID keys. Overall, the new upgrades just improved on an already great laptop.

What a beautiful piece of machinery! You can tell, as usual, that Apple takes amazing pride in their craftsmanship and this laptop is no exception to that. The clam-shell style laptop, when closed, is so incredibly slim that it's almost comical. How can something so small be so powerful? They pulled it off! The aspect ratio of the screen is something that you immediately notice when opening the system. It's not something that I thought would be a big deal to me - but it is. The screen real-estate is noticeable. As far as the many of us (myself included) that were wondering if you could game on this particular model - you absolutely can. I personally had World of Warcraft on it with all settings to at least "Good", and it ran flawlessly. I didn't really play many other games yet; but based on my experience thus far, I have every expectation that it will play games just fine. Whereas the typical Apple product is hardpressed to be representative of what most of us would consider a good "value", this year's product is definitely helping to fix that image. Though expensive, it is reasonably priced compared to any competitor with similarly spec'd systems (though nothing compares to this computer's build quality). If you have the extra cash and can afford this system, particularly for processor-heavy tasks, then this is definitely a machine that will bring a giant smile to your face!

Finally! Apple has fixed the dreaded keyboard issues of the last 4 years. This big boy does it all and has a great screen. The keyboard is fantastic and I am able to type fast without any keys sticking. I do regret that I had to buy like 3 dongles to get the ports that I want, but that is the path which Apple has chose. One of the best laptops I have ever owned.

I bought this back in 21 starting graphic design school. I am still using this beast of a machine as it’s still going strong in 2023!

Everything about this laptop is absolutely beautiful ! Superb graphics, plenty of RAM long lasting battery per charge 1 T Solid state drive which provides me with enough space for music, photos and portability ! Overall very happy with my purchase and the speed with which it was delivered after purchasing !

So far I’m loving my new MacBook! The screen is a great size and the keys are nice to type on. I will say that I don’t really use the Touch Bar at all though. Wish there were an option for the 16” without it. Processing speed is great, and I don’t have any complaints so far. It does run a little hotter than I would expect, but I hear that’s a common issue with MacBooks.
