I've been using this for several months and I'm very happy to report that it works just fine. This is Apple's last 16inch model with the Intel chip. The M1 chip is shipping this year but I wasn't to excited to jump on board a first year model with an unproven chip. This computer has the upgraded keyboard and the escape key returns as well. I never used the touch bar before and it's more or less a novelty. I previously owned a Mac Pro 13inch computer which was a gem for 8 years and still going but at a much slower pace. The best feature on the 16inch is the fabulous speakers, hands down it's the best sound I've ever heard on a laptop and I have owned many outside of an Apple.

I needed the best performance, reliability in a portable computer. Huge difference from 13” much better performance because of cooling. I can see this lasting long as well. Only 5 star review I did in Bestbuy.

You can't complain about a brand new computer. I upgraded from a 2015 15inch MBP to this one mainly for piece of mind if anything goes wrong with it I have apple care to cover it. It was a long term investment for me and getting it for 2400.00 when Best Buy gave 600.00 off for students I jumped all over it. Now I believe they are back at 3000.00 so I received a great deal. I love the computer the Touch Bar is good and if you use it you may love it, the finger print reader was a good idea that I use. This was money well spent in my opinion. It was hard to let go of that 2015 model due to the ports but I will take a new computer any day.

Overall a great MacBook. From the keyboard to the battery life, just another top product and big improvement from previous Pro MacBooks. Speakers are surprisingly good. Extremely happy with my new MacBook Pro.

I will start by saying that this Mac has exceeded all expectations set forth by the needs of our business. This was not a surprise, though, as we upgraded from a 2015 MacBook Pro, which was a wonderful Mac but was showing its age. Among many other tasks, one of the main uses of this MacBook is 3d modeling and it much, much faster than the 2015 model in that regard. You can also see a difference with the day to day tasks such as loading photos, web browsing, etc. It is a widely known fact that apple products are more expensive and at times a bit overpriced, but when you need a reliable laptop, you will find it with this MacBook, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Needed a replacement for my 2017 13” MacBook Pro. The screen seems so muxh larger than expected, runs extremely smooth. Everything you’ve come to expect from Apple and then some. Definitely recommend 10/10

had it for a month and apple seems to resolve issues regarding thermal throttling they've had in the past with MacBooks under heavy work loads! excellent battery life and 16 inch screen makes it a beauty !!

Always had an HP for decades...became disgusted with virus infections despite top of the line protection products. It’s fast, fun, has beautiful screen quality and shocking speaker quality. I could not be happier!

I loved my last MacBook until it needed replaced. So far this one seems faster and has a good battery span. Bigger screen size is negligible but I wanted the biggest they offered. So far very happy with my purchase.

Great display with surprisingly accurate color renditions make this laptop useful for interior design. More than satisfied with processor speed and data storage.

This is a great box, very clear screen and super fast! I love the space grey. Easily runs all of my Adobe Creative Suite apps! I bought this as an open box and it is in perfect condition.

Seriously one of the best recent MacBook Pros. If you think you are in sticker shock, please shop around. Comparable 8 core 16 thread laptops will be just as pricey with the same specs. If I did not go for this my second option would have been a 13" MacBook Pro with the 10th gen Intel CPU. But still glad I went for the larger 16" which has a bigger screen, discrete AMD RX5500M GPU. I went from the 2016 15" MacBook Pro and this one is heaven. The keyboard is outstanding, so much better than the ill fated butterfly keyboard which on my old 15" went bad, I had the f and t key go wonky. The feel is so much better, and the annoying loud clicky noise of the old keyboard thankfully is a thing of the past.

This is the fifty Mac laptop that I have purchased and easily the best. Blazing speed, superb screen and huge storage. It replaced a MacBook Pro 13" laptop and I appreciated the better imaging.

Macbook Pro 16 inch I9 16gb Memory with AMD Radeo Pro 5500M is without a doubt one of the best computers I have ever seen. I realize Apple will likely refresh this line of Macbooks later this year however the overall performance and reliability of this Macbook is top of the line. I use this laptop for video and music editing, including various Motionvfx effect plug ins that ate up all of my 2018 Macbook Pro's system resources. I see an amazing performance gain in this Macbook and it capably handles the various video and audio editing that I need it for. It likely is overpowered for anyone not needing a high performance laptop for these purposes.

Yes, many "complaints" about the latest 15" version, and yes - all of those have been addressed... BUT - more importantly - it's just a flat out beast of a MacBook. Nothing like it. Get it. Use it. Love it.

I upgraded from a 15 inch MacBook Pro mid 2015 model to this one. My old one still works great but hands down the speed, storage, & Intel Core I9 makes this MacBook second to none.

AlThough I had a few software issues initially Apple Support was able to resolve them. This MacBook Pro is a Final Cut beast and Adobe apps perform Extremely well. Runs cooler and quieter than any previous MacBook Pro I’ve owned. A bit pricey in the configuration with more ram but well worth it. Typical Apple quality and superior support

Purchased the Macbook Pro to use in school and it is perfect for me. Large screen but lightweight and thin so very portable. Very fast speeds and always reliable. Would always recommend a Mac!

For those who want the top of the line MacBook, here it is. The Touch Bar is very useful, the display is razor sharp, and the i9 Intel Core provides plenty of power.
