Great keyboard

Overall a great laptop

Part of the reason for update was to handle a new camera raw files and photo editing. The mini was just to slow. This laptop works great for everything i throw at it. I do now have a concern and maybe buyers remorse since 2 weeks after I got the Laptop and all setup with migration of files etc Apple announced their forthcoming ARM based Macs. I have a real concern that Apple will abandon support of this expensive Intel based system in favor of the ARM systems in a few years but i Just don't know. So for now this is a great Laptop, Drives 2 monitors etc like a dream plus its own internal monitor . I've yet to really excercise this to its fullest potential.

The only issue is the fan on when zooming. Still trying to find out why it does that, but it’s great!

No more keyboard issues

I was looking to replace my old MacBook Pro over the last couple of years but I was told to wait for an update due to a number issues, including the keyboard. I decided to wait till the new 13” came out as I found my old 15” to be too cumbersome. However when I spec out 13”, it came close to the price of 16”. Going for the 16” was a no brainer. The 16” also appears to be slimmer than my old 15”.

I always buy MacBook Pro’s every other year but may skip 2020 because the new M1 MacBook Pro’s and Air doesn’t support BootCamp which runs Windows 10. Buy yourself 12” IPad Pro with Magic keyboard if you want Arm experience much better with touch screen and a camera on the back that will let you do more.
