This is my first Apple laptop/computer period!!! I have really enjoyed the speed at which it responds. I mainly use it for development and have been very pleased with the results. I am new to Mac products and getting the feel for using this awesome laptop. It was very good buying experience as well from Best Buy. I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Touch Bar is great since it’s customizable but the laptop is kinda heavy. I find that it heats up fairly quickly, faster than my old MacBook Air.

I can't think of any cons to this piece of beauty. The 16-inch screen coupled with the graphics card makes mid-level gaming a buttery smooth enjoyable experience. the keyboard has just the amount of travel and the aluminum casing is a sight to behold. If you want a laptop that will last for years to come I believe this is the one.

I've had a refurbished MacBook Pro for 3 years (though it's 7 years "old") and though it still works great, I needed something that could run the newest OS. The new MB Pro is amazing! It has the power and speed I need and a MUCH better camera (I'm a teacher Zooming all day). I've been very happy with this purchase so far. Love Macs!

I waited some time before writing this review. I really wanted to use the product since I have been a PC person for quite some time. I have used Windows and Linux distros. This is the first time I have used MacOS. It is a very nice product and Picked it up new for $300 off, right after the first M1 announcement. I find the distro to be more Linux like. I know it was built off a version of BSD Unix. If you use Gnome and Linux then you will find yourself right at home with MacBook Pro and MacOS. I don't know what the future lies for the future of the OS since there seems to be a convergence of iOS and MacOS. My Zbook G5 Studio has Core i9 and 64GB memory and Nvidia Graphics and 2TB for about the same price as this Mac without the discount. The $300.00 off the MSRP was too good to pass up on and I had been wanting want of these MacBook Pro's for a long time. If you want to be UNWindows and you don't want to venture down the Linux route then this is a great recommendation. You can skirt the Apple Ecosystem but be aware it is very easy to go all in.

I was skeptical on upgrading from my 15" MBP to the 16" but needed something with more power. The screen on this thing is beautiful, the keyboard although works as a traditional keyboard really does feel different. The trackpad is very large and the speakers are great. Although it is a pricey machine I believe it's worth every penny.

A solid device, however the lack of ports was a poor choice on apples part, their refusal to support 32bit apps making using my photoshop obsolete hurting my small business. In terms of aesthetic its a forgeous looking machine it performs well however with the above problems i cannot give it the glowing review if like to.

Though this will cost you a pretty penny, it's sure to be worth it. The silky smooth operating system gives me a lot of confidence to do multiple things at the same time, and to specifically work on my film projects. It's an essential for my line of work (video, writing, photo, etc.) and I wouldn't want to work with anything else besides this.

Nice computer. Wish the M1 was available in the larger MacBook Pro when we bought this machine. Still, it is a powerhouse and very effective for content creators. A bit overkill if you just need an everyday use computer, with occasional content creation (primarily around video or animations).

Bigger, better screen. Improved graphics and Intel chips (until Apple Silicon arrives and then goodbye Intel). Higher default storage options than previous generations of the 15'". But what makes this computer excellent...THE KEYBOARD! It actually functions like a keyboard should. Goodbye butterfly and hello beautiful!

Great computer for senior year college, her last Mac lasted a really long time. Grade school until senior year at university. I’ve replaced my pc 3 times and pc desktop twice in same amount of time! I guess that proves college is making her smarter than dad:/ This one is better at everything and so fast. She loves it.

Excellent computer, very fast, great visuals. Also has some odd quirks. For example, while writing a review of some student work, it decided to switch to bold, then later makes a switch to italic. While working with the insertion of comments, randomly shifts to a different comment while I'm typing.

I'm new to the Mac world as I switched to iPhone so seemed like the time to make the move! There has been a small learning curve but all is going smoothly and am very happy with my purchase. Everyone at Best Buy was very helpful and even learned a few shortcuts right away! I would recomment this MacBook Pro!

Love the MacBook Pro! I am a digital illustrator and finally bit the bullet to upgrade my 2012 MacBook Pro (which was still working, but had reached the upgrade limit). This new laptop performs great, the transfer of data was seamless, and it does all of the things I've wished for. This is only my fourth Mac in 26 years - I'm a lifer.

This is the first time that I have updated my MacBook Pro in six years and the improvement are awesome. Great speed, excellent display (I increased in size this time) - very helpful in editing photographs which is something that I do frequently. Very pleased with the computer - still having a bit of sticker shock.

I switched from PC to Mac and it’s a whole new ballgame. I don’t know why I have not switched previously - I was intimidated by the switch and didn’t think I would like it. BOY WAS I WRONG! The ease of use (minus iTunes) and the overall quality far exceeds any PC I have ever owned. I’m a forever Mac girl now.

Superfast, love the big screen, I needed a MacBook Pro with a larger screen for photography editing and graphic design. This 16" with the I9 chip will handle any photo editing software I throw at it. The display is big and beautiful. This is my 4th MacBook and it did not disappoint.
