Luxury Laptop but Actually Works Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design gives the laptop a really premium feel. The all aluminum chassis feels very solid and the space black has a nice look and uniform across the whole device, including the charge cable (unfortunately, not the charging brick). The screen does carry the "notch" but to be honest you don't really notice it unless you're looking for it. The laptop itself is very powerful, and what sets it apart, is it's very powerful on battery. There's a lot of native apps out there now so you get the full gains running natively on the M3 silicone. There's also a ton of apps that run great with rosetta translation error which allows 64x apps to run on ARM. If all of this is greek to you, that's okay, just know that Macs applications are getting better and will continue to get better as developers improve apps. As far as tending to the senses, the screen is beautiful, the sound is 2nd to none, and I love typing on the keyboard. I find that I type very quickly and accurately on the keyboard. The screen is bright, offers great HDR content, and while I would love to see an OLED screen, I can't complain at the quality of what Apple has delivered. It's hard to pick up how well the speakers sound watching videos, you really have to hear it to appreciate it, but they're fantastic. My daily usage revolves around taking Teams calls and checking emails. I plug in overnight, take out at work, and use it most of the day for calls, chats, checking emails, and replying to messages. When I get home, I'm usually around 60-70% battery, depending on how heavily I've used it. I then catch up on the news, watch some YouTube, and do online browsing or shopping if needed. I've not yet felt like I've needed to plug it in, just something I do before going to bed so I know I'm charged up for another fresh day. It's a bit freeing knowing I don't have to show up to the office and find an outlet. I do occasionally edit videos. They don't have a ton of effects or transitions and are usually pretty short. I'm hoping to get to a point where I'm doing more and can better utilize the true potential of this laptop. If I had a negative, it's that MacOS isn't always as intuitive as Apple would have you to believe from all the commercials. There's a heavy reliance on keyboard shortcuts. I wouldn't mind this so much, but the key combinations are not intuitive for where your fingers naturally rest on the keyboard. There's also certain customizations that you cannot do that just doesn't make sense. Apparently in the mail app, swiping right to move to an Archive box just isn't possible. The only reason I can think for doing this is they just don't want to. What I can appreciate however, is how easily it is to search for almost anything on the computer using spotlight, and certain UI choices like stage manager which allows for a more organized way to switch apps. I'm also a huge fan of Apple pushing USB C as the new hotness and I'm disappointed in the rest of the industry for not following. I did struggle to get multiple displays working through my thunderbolt 4 dock, but this could be either the dock isn't compatible with Mac or I need a deeper understanding of how to set it up properly Best I could do was duplicate. In conclusion, I really feel like I'm using the top of the line when it comes to laptops. Strong integration with other apple products helps with productivity and keeping focus but will likely be a point of frustration for those without iPhone. Also know that you're paying for what I call a bit of a designer product that also happens to work great and appeal to the senses.

Impressive upgrade. This thing is fast and quiet.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent upgrade from my 2019 MacBook Pro. The increase of battery life, processing, and finally some built in additional ports are great. It is a bit heavy, but worth its weight. This will be great as CPU and Memory become more critical with the advancement in apps and AI.

Love this laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M3 MacBook Pro 16 is seriously impressive! It's got everything you could want in a laptop and then some. The 16-inch Retina display is absolutely gorgeous, with colors that pop and super sharp details. And let's talk about performance – the M3 chip makes everything run like a dream, even when you've got a million tabs open. Plus, the keyboard feels amazing to type on, so you can bang out emails or write essays all day without cramping up. Oh, and did I mention the battery life? Bottom line: whether you're a pro or just need a reliable laptop for everyday stuff, the M3 MacBook Pro 16 is the best choice.

Excellent MacBook Pro with some quirky features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop continues the long line of quality laptops from apple. This works great with heavy movie and music files and apps! This laptop has the older style magnetic power source and I believe will also charge and run with USB-C as well. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the layout of ports. While they did add an HDMI port directly on the Macbook, there are limited USB-C ports and oddly placed so I can’t use my old USB adapter without covering something up. I how 3rd party manufacturers recognize this and produce a solution. Outside of that quirky decision, this operates extremely well and has all the features I need. The Battery life is noticeably improved over older models. The MacBook screen is just outstanding.

Absolute Beast of a Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Pro M3 Max is a total game-changer! It’s crazy fast, handling everything I throw at it without slowing down. I can edit videos, run heavy software, and have tons of tabs open all at once with zero issues. The screen is gorgeous, with colors that really pop, making everything look amazing. Plus, the battery life is seriously impressive – I don’t have to worry about charging all day. If you want a powerful laptop that’s got it all, this is the one to get. Couldn’t be happier!

Finally, Gaming on a Mac!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I havent had a Mac laptop since the PowerBook G4 days and since then Gaming has been kind of non-existent on MacOS. Well, bring in the hefty M3 Max as well as Apple’s Game Porting Toolkit that allows you to run Windows games (with some catches, but think of it as Proton for Mac) and this thing is a beast! Theres also a native gaming push again and it ultimately made me come back. I’m not disappointed at all. This machine is nice, sleek, and fast. The vibrant 16” display is also really nice and colors absolutely pop. As a mostly Windows gamer, I can now recommend Mac for work and play.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was previously using a 2014- 15 inch macbook pro and not having the latest updates was starting to become a hassle with being able to download programs. This machine not only has a better and brighter display (which i couldnt beleive since my 2014 model already had a display in its own league compared to other laptops I own) but it just looks stunning. It is incredibly fast and efficient. Where I could barely make it in hour or two off the charger in my old computer this one can go a few days without me needing to charge it. Im very excited to see how long it will last and this new space black color looks amazing.

Nearly the best M3 can get!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mac. Great performance in any mac-based task that I have. Speedy fast processing and great specs, nearly the best M3 Mac you can get. I usually use mine for light work and video games. I run many windows-based video games through NVIDIA GeForce NOW and stream 4k quality, which uses up to 10gb/hour of wifi streaming and the laptop runs no problem. Macs heat up when pushed to the limits so beware of heat.

This MacBook Pro is a game-changer for freelancers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The updated MacBook Pro is a design marvel, featuring a super sleek + streamlined profile that perfectly complements its powerful capabilities. As a graphic + game designer with over 20 years of experience, I've been particularly impressed by the speed + robustness of the processor, especially when running resource-intensive tasks in Unity. The M3 Max chip ensures seamless multitasking, allowing for a smooth + efficient workflow—36gb memory doesn't hurt either. This MacBook Pro is a game-changer for my freelance studio, combining a sophisticated design with unparalleled performance, making it an ideal choice for creative professionals on the go... Apple's best laptop for $ yet. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. ha

Very good but price could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good performance and hardware seems to be very rugged. Screen is very good and great resulution but I don't like how you have to scale resolution. Not enough scaling options. I like Windows direct scaling better. But that's an OS issue. The hardware is very good. The price is OK if you can get it on sale.

Nice and Powerful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a tad bit hesitant to purchase a purely Apple Silicon machine, but after having done so, I'm very pleased with this machine. It performs well, the battery life is really good, even when I'm really taxing the machine. Better yet, it doesn't make nearly as much heat as the I7 & I9 intel based MACBOOK's I've had from 2019. I highly recommend this machine to someone seeking a really powerful Macbook, and will advise those that don't need the power to purchase lower priced options.

Pretty great, from a Windows guy.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very slick, coming from 20+ years of being solely a windows user. The OS takes some getting used to, but the build quality is way ahead of my last machine (surface 5 laptop) or any of the Lenovos or Dells I've had in the past. Super fast as well. Battery life is insane. Biggest problem I have is using it with multiple monitors / docking station. But it works alright with two monitors, although I have to plug them both into the laptop, not get both running through a dock.
