I wanted a computer capable of many things. I also needed a computer I did not have to switch out or worry about it breaking. The is a great purchase and I am very happy with it. I am a Registered Nurse (RN) going to school for my doctorate of nurse practice (DNP). I wanted a computer that would last me 5 years, since the program will take my 5 years until graduation. I also have the Best Buy total care, which I am grateful for. I will always be a Best Buy total care member.

I had previous a 2015 Macbook pro 15", and it was time to update. My first impression (after I used time machine to transfer from my old laptop) is how fast it starts up. This new machine starts all app within 20-30 seconds, where my old machine maybe took 1.5 minute before all apps where up and running. Another big change is the heat. My old laptop would be pretty warm in my lap, but this one I hardly notice and heat at all. I can recommend to update to the M version, if you currently have an Intel based laptop.

Powerhouse computer with the classic timeless look. I am happy that I went with the 14/30 configuration as I don’t do as much graphic intensive work. I purchased this as an upgrade from my 2015 MacBook Pro and am blown away by the difference in performance. I mainly using this for music production, heavily focusing on VST, plug-ins and heavy audio track counts. The ability to have over 30 audio tracks with heavy processing on top of 30 or more virtual instruments with effects without a hiccup is incredible on this machine. My older machine would stutter, and Fight to withstand 20 audio tracks with minimal effects. Being able to utilize the tools I need without having to constantly freeze tracks is a dream. I chose the silver as the space black did not feel like home to me.

Love this computer! Does it all fast, quiet and cool. I have not upgraded since intel chip so I’m very impressed.

This is a real workhorse of a laptop. My best laptop I use for video editing and podcast.

I have been using the M1 Pro for a couple of years and I liked it very much. Upgrading to M3 Pro Max was a treat. Some serious multi tasking can be done on this setup. I have a the M3 for a couple months, and I haven’t heard the fan go off. I’m a power user does software development, and video editing. Come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever the fan on my M1 Pro go off either in 2 years. Apple makes great computers, although they are a little pricey.

I love this computer, it’s replacing a M1 MacBook for video editing and I couldn’t be happier. This thing is a beast with video encoding, almost 5x faster than my M1. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Unbeatable processing and battery life. Laptop stays cool and fans almost never engage.

Absolutely stunning laptop. If you are looking for one of the best Macs that you can buy, you can't go wrong with this laptop. However, I would only buy this laptop if you have a special use intended for it- for the average user, assuming you want a 16-inch laptop, the MBP 16 M3 Pro is more than capable enough.

To replace my old MacBook, I sprung for a "MacDaddy" - with the M3 Max chip. So glad Apple went back to the MagSafe3 (magnetic) charging port. And WOW - what a laptop; solid, great keyboard, fantastic graphics, and fast computing. In my opinion, can't beat it!
