MacBook Pro laptop is great laptop for so many reasons: great battery life, excellent screen resolution, backlit keyboard, DVD player still built into this one - which I like as the new ones are thinner and don't have DVD players. In summary, get this model if you like an efficient, well built and solid laptop. Some of the new ones may be thinner, but you lose some features in newer ones.

The computer is really great! Im a tech savvy person so I adapted really easily to the device. There are a lot of technologically advanced gestures and programs on this Mac but with a little time spent on learning them it makes this computer an awesome machine. There is no comparison to the PC world. You dont have to worry about viruses as much as you do PC's. Its sleek design makes you look professional and when you walk around with a mac in your hand its like being part of the family of apple users.

This laptop was purchased for my daughter after month's of her pleading, and now I know why. It does everything: music, movies, etc. She even got rid of her tv in the room b/c she uses her laptop for Netflix

This is an outdated macbook pro model. The system runs ok but the price is set a little high! As always Bestbuy items are priced in a way that only keen eyes get good deals. For average consumers, it is easy to fall into the pricing trap.

I love love love this computer! This is my first Macbook. I have always used PC's and was sick of all of the typical issues with them getting bogged down and simply not lasting. The battery life is amazing! It is so nice to just being able to use a laptop with out pop ups from everything. Apple's customer service is great. Although I have not had to use it with this MacBook I have an iPhone and the customer service with it was great. Don't hesitate if you are thinking of switching.

This is my second MacBook and I couldn't be happier that I made the investment. I tried a Sony VAIO but I could not stand navigating the new Windows 8. I was trying to avoid spending so much for a laptop now that I have two kids but I ended up returning the Sony and giving into the temptation of Apple! iPhoto is great for organizing my kids photos and sharing them with friends and family. Great laptop!

The laptop meets my expectations. I have never owned a MacBook Pro before but it runs smoothly and is the perfect size.
