This was a gift for my 65 year old mother. Right out of the box, we had her set up in about 15 minutes. She was checking email, taking pictures, and using FaceTime right away. Now she can check on her grandchildren throughout the country and they can see each other. Mac is the best. Great for school, work, and grandparents!

this computer and operating system are awesome - I have both windows and IOS, but prefer IOS much better (it's more intuitive) ... the laptop is a little heavy but it has everything you could need

I am absolutely satisfied with my new laptop. I would recommend this to my friends. In fact I own a Mac pro before 250 g and I gave it to my son as a Christmas gift. He' s joy and excitement is priceless.

You can not got wrong. Apple products are apple products. The only bad experience was best buy shipping. Their shipping policy has a lot of restrictions. And customer service is the worst i 've ever seen.

My daughter wanted a MacBook Pro last year when she started college. We decided to save the $350 and get an Acer laptop. After multiple problems and a trip back to Acer to replace the hard drive it was sold and the MacBook Pro was purchased. So far it has been well worth the extra cash to not worry whether it is going to boot or run correctly. Most student and EDU discounts are $100.

Both of my children own a mac book and have had no trouble with it for over 5 years. I have gone through 2 Dell laptops in 5 years. I know that this is a good computer and that is why I bought it.

It is so nice. Camera quality is so good. Battery life is so good.

This my 3rd Mac. I have bought one for each of my kids as they have needed them for school. I don't have any issues performance wise like I do with PCs.

I have two 13.3" MacBook Pro computers. One recently died of a bad motherboard after 3 yrs of use (two months after warranty). Geek squad said it would cost $900 for a new motherboard and $300 labor charge. I decline the repair and bought the same MacBook Pro for $885 regular price $1099. Think I got a good deal. Hope this one will last longer than three yrs.
